Make that 4-02-1 pool
Losing Ballard is a problem to be solved. He has played so well in a sort of 10 role behind Joseph. I wonder if Bruce will go for embleton or Carey to replace rather than Fletcher / RhodesYou see Burton Albion at home and you expect an easy win… but this is League One and there is no such thing.
Ballard injury is a blow. We need that pace and hassle of the opposing back line up top.
It’s still winnable. 4 wins and we’d be in dreamland.
It’s interesting Carey has been mentioned. He’s actually had a decent return (by his standards, at least) when cutting in from the left of a front three.Losing Ballard is a problem to be solved. Hoping Embleton has been eating just salad recently. It’s interesting Carey has been mentioned. He’s actually had a decent return (by his standards, at least) when cutting in from the left of a front three.
Agree anyway. I guess the pace of Ballard/Joseph will be missed but Embleton/Fletcher will offer a tweak in our approach - Bruce will sort it!
Embleton can not close down in 15 minute cameos.Losing Ballard is a problem to be solved. He has played so well in a sort of 10 role behind Joseph. I wonder if Bruce will go for embleton or Carey to replace rather than Fletcher / Rhodes
Still 1/2 favourites with bet 365Fletcher will get the nod I'd say.
Evans will be a huge miss. In theory it's Carey and Morgan, but that's very lightweight. I can see a curveball coming with maybe Offiah in there. At a push he might put Husband or Gabriel.
Injuries have taken us from firm favs to slight ones I think.
Without Ballard, tricky, without Evans as well, very tricky.Tomorrow could be tricky.
I agree - whilst form, home advantage etc should see us get 3 points ,there is another part of me thinks this will be a tough game and a draw would not surprise me.Tomorrow could be tricky.
I’d be surprised if offiah started in central midfield . I’d prefer him in the back four. If Evans misses out it might be Carey joining Morgan in the middleTyrer

Don't think work rate is the issue. It's more the quality such as finishing. Different type of player; can't expect him to run the channels and run as much as Ballard. If Fletcher starts today, he’ll have to up his work rate for me. I’m not sure if it’s fitness or laziness, but I’ve yet to see him put a shift in that gets anywhere near to the levels of Joseph or Ballard
Long trip, respect for that.Driving up from kernow this morning, very much looking forward to it, it’s been a while️
He lives in Brazil so even longer trip.Long trip, respect for that.
Maybe not the channels, but I’d expect him to chase down the CD in front of him. His game feels half hearted to me but I’m happy to be proven wrong todayDon't think work rate is the issue. At least we know who to blame if we loseI’m taking a mate of mine who’s last match was 1996 play off at home to Bradford City. I’m praying we win this one for him and obviously all of us on here
il disown him don’t you worryAt least we know who to blame if we lose
I think he will play the best 11 available both matches, our previous manager loved to rotate for the sake of it. If you had a good game you invariably got rested if you were not one of his favourites.Hopefully we can start with the same 11 but with Lincoln and at home to follow, will Bruce be tempted to rotate a little?
Agreed, I'm more thinking about the likes of Evans and Ballard. Both seem like doubts and maybe resting them if they're not 100% would make sense. I'm not talking about the needless rotation Critchley used to do.I think he will play the best 11 available both matches, our previous manager loved to rotate for the sake of it. Where have you been, Ballard is definitely out , possibly 3 weeks.Agreed, I'm more thinking about the likes of Evans and Ballard. Both seem like doubts and maybe resting them if they're not 100% would make sense. I'm not talking about the needless rotation Critchley used to do.
Optimism comes easy to you, eh Lytham? It's got a loss written all over this.
Would rather BeesleyRhodes for Ballard only change
