We just don't have a killer instinct, the teams in the top 6 finish teams when on top.

We were so on top it was odds on we'd lose our way. Its not like we've sat back to be fair, more that we stopped playing and made really poor decisions when in good positions.
 
Full time 1-0, hollow victory for me, this season should and could have been so different.
Looking at the clubs really going for that sixth spot just sickens me, the chances we've had time and time again, only to fuck it up.

unfortunately based on the second half performance that is exactly what he has said. we sat too deep, invited them to come at us. lost control of the midfield, got careless with the ball, and didnt get the same intensity for winning back possession.

i'll take the three points but not convincing at all in the second half.
 
We're still in it - beat F/wood on Tuesday and even our reserves should beat relegated Carlisle and then look at the table

a big week though admittedly out of our fist pumps !
 
A win, a goal but that was just more evidence of our failings. Byers was probably the pick but to play a whole 45 minutes against an utterly hopeless side without a single decent effort on target is criminal. Picking 2 of Beesley, Kouassi, Lavery and Joseph is like rearranging broken deckchairs on the Titanic. All of them struggle to read the game, hold the ball up or link with their strike partner. Without Rhodes we are so poor in that final 3rd.

With a proper fitness plan and a good coach to develop him, I reckon Kouassi could be very decent ... as for the other three

Season ticket holders not even bothering showing up.there was six seats empty next to me in the south who are ST holders.says it all really and I don’t blame them.

Same near me, I'm in block D and it's usually not far off full, there were quite a few empty seats that are usually season ticket holders.
