We seem to have picked up momentum again & at just the right time. It’ll be interesting to see what team he picks for Saturday. Against Barton’s relegated lot. Will it be rest as many as possible or will staying in 3rd be an advantage. Mmmm

Great performance by the whole team and management, no one will want to play us. Simms, Yates superlative and scoring, Kesha and Demi scaring the crap out with their speed
Apparently Sunderland think we are shit. We were knackered when we played them and still beat them twice. Let them keep thinking we are shit. When we play at our best we are the best team in the division imo. Darren Ferguson said we are the best team Posh have played this season

I'd give Yates a rest but give him some minutes nearer the end to hopefully nick a goal for the confidence.

Try and get Holmes some minutes and a goal.

Give Kesh some more minutes as he is a player we need.

Rest a few more maybe.

But definitely a game we need to win.

The worrying thing there is, though we dominated that second game Sunderland had the better chances and could have scored 4 or 5 if Maxi hadn't been on form. We'll need to watch those players a little more closely if we meet up again. Plus a better ref, of course.

You are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine. However I have never abused anyone on this board nor littered my posts with expletives which as I said add nothing to your point of view. If you don’t like my posts you have the option of the ignore button, your prerogative.
You’re being somewhat economic with that statement! 😀 But tonight’s a night to celebrate success so let’s all enjoy it instead 👍 UTP

You'd think we could rest a few players and still easily beat Bristol Rovers, esp as they are about to start their summer holidays and need to stay injury free as many of them will be looking for new clubs over the summer according to the man-management genius Joey Barton

2-0 and should have been 4 or 5. Great to see Keshi back and playing well, just a shame Stewart couldn't get more game time but 100% right decision to sub him. I'd start Marv, Holmes, Keshi and Mitchell on Saturday.

We still have Gretarsson, CJ, Virtue, Robson, Ward, Kaikai and Madine out injured - and Anderson and Stewart just returning after very long lay offs.

Critch has coped with all that without ever complaining or making excuses and has moved players around and lost very few games. It's a fantastic achievement, for him, the rest of the staff, and all the players. 👍

I was impressed by the fact that Neil Critchley had the balls to take off all the players on yellow cards including a lad who was returning from a long term injury and had only just come on as a sub and who really could have done with some more minutes in his legs. It's paying attention to the small details like that which shows when a manager is totally on the ball.
