Blackpool v Huddersfield Official Matchnight Thread 07.02.23

I thought Goode was on loan from a Premier League team? Does that qualify as a freebie crock nobody wants these days?
From 2020 until now he's only played 14 games at Brentford (signed while in the championship & played in tin pot cup comps) where he suffered hamstring & cartilage problems & 2 at Sheff Utd.
He's a crock who lacks match fitness, but deemed good enough for us, in a relegation battle.
The board should have bought what we needed, if they want to stay in the championship.

And no Thorniley on the bench but he'll be back in the team on Saturday because he has to, he won't complain and he play really well as he always does.

Oh dear, 1 down, it was on the cards, shocking defending, it's what we were all expecting when we saw the team news. Madine looks like he's going to go off injured so McCarthy has to change it and put Rogers, Bowler and Poveda on because this is wank.

Third mistake in one and a half games by Nelson all leading to goals…Madine should’ve done better aswell

We must be the worst passing side in the EFL.
Cannot string 2 passes together
Get the subs on!

This is dogshit. How you can leave your 3 best wingers on the bench is beyond me. Your best right back and best goalkeeper. It’s genuinely unreal.

Anyone see McCarthy getting the sack by Sunday? The only silver lining is if it means the end of BB and makes Sadler desperately want to sell, he may be a could hedge fund manager but he can't pick a manager!!

Appleton has ruined our confidence and McCarthy is ruining our chance of survival. I don’t see how we can change things with that Goode injury and the bench options
