Blackpool v Luton Town Official Matchday Thread 05.11.22

Midfield with patino and dougal is exactly the one to accommodate a player like Wright. Instead we've got hop-along... hope he plays well enough to justify keeping certain attack minded players out. Also, where is Carey??

love the way the two commentators don't have a clear view of the pitch so have to guess some stuff

I expect it will be illness going through the squad, caught when they were at Coventry as they were ravaged by it, Patino first then the ones missing today. Won't be players dropped or discipline bollocks!

Marvin's getting worse every game. How many mistakes can one defender make?

This is worryingly similar to the Luton game last season.

Fantastic challenge from Ekpiteta there. Luton been the better side by far for the majority of this half.

We're nowhere near it so far. Patino, dougal and CJ have been OK, but ward madine and Yates have been completely absent.

Hmmm, pretty average again so far today, I’m inclined to agree with Herts that we are possibly being ravaged by illness atm and we have least unwell players on the pitch for midweek game and today. We can deffo win this though, keep going lads💪💪

its a bit of a midfield battle. Luton winning quite a lot of second balls. when we go forward we look dangerous.
cant quite work out who's playing where today.

A bit harsh. I thought Luton played some decent stuff at times. Adebayo is a complete handful.
Get it to the big strong men, play off them etc etc, shite football but has been effective for them last season but will only take you so far.

Rhys Williams not in kick around with subs at half time. Looks like either he's coming on or he is not 100%
