Blackpool v Peterborough BSM Semi Final Official Matchnight Thread 20.02.24

It'll be interesting to see how many players are dropped from both teams from last Saturdays starting 11, especially with Bolton coming up this Saturday. Pool and Bolton both dropped around 3/4 of the team from the previous game for the quarters, but I don't see that many changes being made tonight, so we'll see tonight how serious Critch is in taking us to Wembley versus chasing a last play off spot. I think one things for sure, Connelly will play a part in the first 11 tonight.

Connolly will give Husband a rest he was excellent in the cup games against Forest and Bolton in the role + scoring his penalty.

Gutted I’m not there tonight - hopefully the train gets me back to Lancaster in enough time I’m only missing 10/15 minutes on TV

Big game for the fan base tonight. Some of my favourite memories as a kid were in the LDV. Sheffield Wednesday away and then to Cardiff for the final. Really does have a big impact on the kids getting to cup finals. COYP 🍊

Going for a 2-1 win tonight in normal time. If not a nail biting yet glorious penalty shoot out win not beyond the realms of possibility.

North stand looking very full on the ticket site, bock B and C sold out, A and D only a few seats left, plenty available in the West and North west corner

If I remember didn't Wednesday already have Wembley flags printed and mike sheron scored 2 that night?

Damned Facebook memories! 🤣
Tbf that’s the only way I knew! Picture came up of me and my eldest. He was only 5 but was desperate to go. He was a bit ill leading up to it but we had that knowing look to keep it quiet from his mum.

It was his first away and obviously it’s a bit more ‘fruity’ language wise. At half time he said to me ‘Daddy… what’s a t**t?’ I nearly died!
