Totally avoidable bullshit. We were outplayed and outfought but not in a Stevenage fashion but rather by skill and desire. Why change nearly half your team? Why have no discernable plan? It's a fecking team game, not a lost sheep reunion.

yeah, they have. Multiple times actually. Passed it straight to Virtue a few times. Kicked it straight out. Mis hit one literally two seconds before half time which luckily went to their player.

They are no where near as good as people are trying to make out.

Dembele and Hamilton in 20 minutes and I think we can win.

I really hope you’re right but if we carry on like we did in the first half, I really can’t see it.
 
What is it about Tuesday night games.

We need to come out completely differently second half. We need to want it.

They have been very good technically at the back, never got flustered and we ran out of steam chasing the ball very quickly.

Need fresh legs for the second half.

Well based on the fact that none of our players have really improved, we're not in a play off position despite Sadler's unwavering support and he's seemingly from substitute to formation, to who plays where, to picking on merit, to playing players in their proper positions learned nothing all season it can hardly be a Critchley in poll can it?

And my point was that they’ve turned up like they’re the home team, retained possession and made some very good clear cut chances whereas we haven’t had one.

Something needs to change drastically at half time 🤞🏻 UTP
 
This is a tough watch in the ground. Let's hope they don't spend the whole second half playing keep ball in front of the empty South. What price on Critchinio to make a half time treble sub move? Oh hang on, they've just come out. As you were.

I was 50/50 - am only 20 mins away - saw the team and thought if Critchley can’t be arsed then neither can I. Gone exactly as I thought it would. Bet he doesn’t make any changes for at least 20 mins.
 
IF NC veers away from his usual MO and makes early changes, we can still win this game.
Based on the play so far, they won't be happy to be only 0-1 up, knowing who we've got sat getting splinters in their arris's & waiting to come on.
It's within NC hands now, let's hope he does the right thing & makes the subs early.
 
We seem to have a bit more energy than usual but are still wasting it by appalling passing. They have been the better side by miles. But it’s only 0-1.

Well if he does make a change you’ll have to wait until 70 minutes 😊
 
Connolly got lucky with the arm into the lads face, we win the ball back but then give it away with terrible passing, on 30 mins I saw JG tracking back, he was totally out on his feet, its a hard position to play. That is the trouble with this system, once your wing backs are caught up the pitch there are big spaces left to exploit, then they pull our back 3 all over the place, would love to see some half times subs for a change. PB knock it about very well, but let's get the ball down show some confidence in our passing and test their defending.
