Good point LA1, Turts for me has been consistent all season whenever he has been called upon and as you say his positional play is his strength. If this were Wimbledon or Gillingham I’d be concerned about Turton being outmuscled all game and beaten in the air - but against Peterborough his positional sense is what matters and that’s one of Turtons big strengths.
Think it would be a risk to play Gretarsson alongside Thorniley so soon after coming back from injury. Whoever came in for Ballard is going to have to provide the pace, positional sense and ball playing qualities that Thorniley doesn’t really possess. May be a bit much to ask Gretarsson to do that so soon, especially as he hasn’t played a lot of football for us anyway, he’ll be playing on the right (and he’s a leftie) and he’s against a top quality Peterborough attack.I'd rather he'd started with two proper centre backs with Thorniley and Gretarrson. Then if Gretarrson gets knackered he can get him off and reorganise with Turts in the middle. As it stands, it's unlikely the Viking will get on at all. Still Turts has surprised me before, and I'm hoping he does it again.
We can win this! Our attack will take the pressure off our defence. UTMP
No idea if its true but I did see something flash up on twatter about him being fined for bad behaviour At the training ground. Could just be bullshit though.Still no sign of Lubala.
I wonder what's happening with him?
Seriously out of favour it would appear.
The amount of injuries we’ve got would destroy pretty much every other team in the league. The fact we’re still putting out decent teams is a testament to our squad strength. That is a pretty weak bench in comparison to earlier this season...injuries hitting hard
MassiveIs it me or are they a tall side?
