Blatant penalty turned down for Orient?

Did those sat in the South Stand agree with the Orient fans that it was a stone wall penalty not given?
Would it have been a red card for our player as well?

I watched on ifollow as I've had an op recently. It was a stonewall penalty and a definite stopping a goal scoring opportunity. Penalty and a red card, as Husband was making no attempt to play the ball and that I think is the rule.

It wasn't stonewall. The player was certainly eased away from under the high ball after the Grimshaw parry, as happens all over the pitch all the time. Seen them given, but that ref let a lot go, so not surprised when he played on.

If it’s a DOGSO in the penalty area a penalty and a yellow. DOGSO outside the penalty area direct free kick and a red.

Defo absolute pen. Marv cocked up on the left, ball played in and hubby left with a decision - 2 hands on the back or clear chance on goal. We 100% got away with a decision today!

It was a pen, but we’ve had ones turned down in the last year that were 100% stronger calls.
That being said, yes it was and I somehow wish we’d have lost, then Critch the muppet couldn’t say it’s a clean sheet. 😂

Who cares?

We've had enough stonewall penalties turned down over the years, and a few blatant dives giving us penalties against us so it's about time things started to even themselves out

Looked 50/50 to me. Hubby was pulled to the ground by a shirt pull.
It was very 50/50, hubby's shirt was being pulled before he pushed the opponent who still had hold of his shirt. There seemed to be a similar thing in the opposition pen box when beesley was being pulled down so at least the ref was consistently shit which is a marginal improvement on the norm of randomly shit.

Why are they involved, shows their influence if they're involved in penalty decisions.

It was a penalty, Husband just pushed him right in front of the ref. The problem with playing Husband is that he just isn't big enough
to play at centre half, or in a back three.

Season ticket in Block J, but yesterday was invited into corporate, and a box with our seats positioned just inside the South penalty area. I just said, "That's a penalty and a send off, I reckon."
What a relief when it wasn't given, but I'd have had a fit if we'd been attacking and the referee waved play on.
🧡UTMP🧡

saw it first time and wasn't convinced. Saw it again on full screen and yep defo pen. Ref throughout the game seem to let a lot go so we'll take it.

What are you talking about it was an absolute stone Waller

I think he’s a referee !

The Orient player somehow stayed on his feet - he should have gone down

Clear pen, clear red and clear daylight robbery - sorry to Orient (but it’s the ref that should be admitting his error or ‘bottling it’ - he should be suspended.)

If people can’t see that I shall supply them with a referee’s application form - only qualifications needed are;
Narrow mindedness
Non-accuracy
Incompetence
In articulation
No decision making
