I suspect that the majority of those who bought the most I follow tickets have had season tickets in previous years anyway and it will have cost at least as much if not more than a season ticket would have cost them

It cost season tickets holders more than £10 a game for the home games.

And don't forget some households had multiple season ticket holders.
