I hope they don’t implement your ideas because they would end up with 5 a side.
Seriously, before we slag the authorities off we should take a look at the footballers themselves.
A lot are professional cheats and yet they call themselves “sportsmen”
I’ll wager that all those who are calling it nonsense would welcome the idea if the opposition were punished by getting a sin bin if we were trailing.
The thing is time wasting and dissent needs sorting out and goalies are by far the worst
Ball goes behind for a goal kick and when they used to have to take the kick on the side the ball went out they stroll across to the other side.
They catch a ball cleanly when stood up and then suddenly fall forward and lie on the ball.
Place a ball for a goal kick and then a defender strolls back, takes the kick but just taps it back to the keeper (we do that a lot)
Any slight infringement when defending a set piece and they fall over as if they’ve been poleaxed
What ever happened to the 6 second rule or the amount of steps they were only allow to take.
Place the ball for a kick, walk backwards and bang their boots on the goal post (which btw you never see outfield players do) then saunter forward and respot the ball, walk back again, another bang of the boots and then decide to take the kick.
At Stevenage one of their players actually walked about 10 yards further on from where the ball went out to take a throw in.
A player taps a ball 2 yards to prevent a quick free kick being taken and gets booked whereas a player who gives away a free kick can pick the ball up, walk about 10 yards with it and then drop it on the floor and naff all is done.
All blatant cheating and needs to be stopped.
