Bottom 3

Looking at the fixtures of Derby Posh and Barnsley I'm expecting Derby to stay up so the other 2 and 1 more to go down , Posh's fixtures look the most difficult.

Plus an incontinence ward keeps more clean sheets than Peterboro.

Derby have had a decent run of form recently... I think they'll end up around 44/45 points

The rumour from the Derby board is they need to find £7m to see them through to the end of the season, Lawrence (who scored both goals today) is almost certainly on the way out (although fee likely to be minimal), and clubs are sniffing around for their best players at knockdown rates.

What they're really hoping for is that Everton pot Benitez then take Rooney and his £95,000 p/w off the wage bill.

Its engrained in our DNA as Blackpool fans.!!!
When everything is going well, you just know that there's something around the corner to kick you in the balls.
I know what you mean Wizzerboy, It’s the old ‘typical Blackpool’ mantra, I’m all vibed up for this brand new era it’s going well and there aren’t any comparisons to make yet with previous regimes. In other words Cartmell no more, Oystons no more, Sadler to the fore! Keep the faith.👍

For the bottom 3 I think it’ll be any of the current 6.
Hull, Reading, Cardiff, Posh, Derby, and Barnsley
Personally I’d like to see Derby stay up, and I think Reading will too.
Cardiff are in a major slump as are Posh.
So my prediction is Barnsley, Cardiff, Peterborough.
It would be interesting to see if Derby’s survival relies on their final fixture of the season against us at BR.

Your last sentence sounded like a Proclaimers song!!😂😂

I know what you mean though Levi👍🏻

Millwall a massive game for us, they conceded last min today so good opportunity for us to grab 3 points and move up the table.
Millwall lost their 2 main strikers in today’s game, Bradshaw and Ojo with what appear to be be serious injuries. This should help the cause come Saturday .

We owe Millwall one after losing unfairly at their ground. As for relegation, if 50 is the magic number, We need 17 points from 20 games. Can anyone honestly not see us managing that?

Derby are making a valiant effort but can't see them staying up. Barnsley too are doomed which leaves one more from the posh. Reading,Cardiff or Hull. Can't see anyone else being involved unless there were a horrendous set of results.

Derby won’t exist in May. Nobody’s taking that mess on.

Aren't we only just half way through the season? I think we've only played 3 teams twice and we've played more games than most.
Surely that means the Clubs you mention have to play virtually every other team?

No not for me

They need to gain 7 points just to catch up with Reading who also have a game in hand and that’s with reading getting no more points, id love to see it happen though

Realistically I can't see any the bottom 6 catching us, however we need to be targeting 15 points from the remains 60.

48 will be more than enough this season.

I don’t think it’ll even be close for us.
Right now we are injury ridden but that’ll clear up enough.

I think we will finish with 60 points approx - comfortable.

Of the sides at the bottom, it is clear Peterborough and Barnsley are poor. I doubt Peterborough will sack Ferguson and Barnsley have already rolled the dice on a new manager. Peterborough are doomed, they look very much a L1 team. Barnsley have really suffered a slump having lost their manager and a couple of players in the summer. I don't know how much their board will be willing to gamble in January, and feel they are also stuffed. Derby have done incredibly well but with any new takeover looking unlikely before the end of January they will be forced to sell. Wigan have already agreed a fee for Shinnie, I suspect Lawrence will be in demand, as will some of their young players who have really stepped up. Then you have the Rooney factor, I doubt he'd want to jump ship unless it was a club he couldn't say no to. With the rumours spreading that Rafa has been potted, I can honestly see them going for one of their own, if that happens, I think they'd almost certainly be going down.
