Plus an incontinence ward keeps more clean sheets than Peterboro.Looking at the fixtures of Derby Posh and Barnsley I'm expecting Derby to stay up so the other 2 and 1 more to go down , Posh's fixtures look the most difficult.
Derby's nxt 4 home games all winnableI think Derby are going to lose some big players over the window, if not they may well go pop.
Derby's nxt 4 home games all winnable
Me and you aren't, there's a fair few still worried. It’s great sitting here in January and not remotely worrying about relegation from the Championship
Posh look doomed on this form.Looking at the fixtures of Derby Posh and Barnsley I'm expecting Derby to stay up so the other 2 and 1 more to go down , Posh's fixtures look the most difficult.
I wish I was that confident - I think it’s gonna be a very twitchy end to the seasonIt’s great sitting here in January and not remotely worrying about relegation from the Championship
Have faith. It’ll be a comfy mid table finish I reckon.I wish I was that confident - I think it’s gonna be a very twitchy end to the season
It’s a tradition or even a hobby for some to be worried and pessimistic.Me and you aren't, there's a fair few still worried.
I’ve got more chance of finding my car keys !!Have faith. It’ll be a comfy mid table finish I reckon.
Shayne will find his shooting boots again
Derby have had a decent run of form recently... I think they'll end up around 44/45 points
Don’t worry, be happy! Best place our club has been in 60 years of my supporting The Pool!I’ve got more chance of finding my car keys !!
Hope you’re right but I’m worried
Its engrained in our DNA as Blackpool fans.!!!It’s a tradition or even a hobby for some to be worried and pessimistic.
I know what you mean Wizzerboy, It’s the old ‘typical Blackpool’ mantra, I’m all vibed up for this brand new era it’s going well and there aren’t any comparisons to make yet with previous regimes. In other words Cartmell no more, Oystons no more, Sadler to the fore! Keep the faith. Its engrained in our DNA as Blackpool fans.!!!
When everything is going well, you just know that there's something around the corner to kick you in the balls.
Until it’s mathematically impossible for us to go down there’s always the ghost of 78, , so whilst I’m not over concerned I’ll still sleep with one eye openIt’s great sitting here in January and not remotely worrying about relegation from the Championship
Your last sentence sounded like a Proclaimers song!!I know what you mean Wizzerboy, It’s the old ‘typical Blackpool’ mantra, I’m all vibed up for this brand new era it’s going well and there aren’t any comparisons to make yet with previous regimes. From Wester Ross to Nov Scotia, the finest team in futba'Your last sentence sounded like a Proclaimers song!!
I know what you mean though Levi
Caution please. It’s great sitting here in January and not remotely worrying about relegation from the Championship
Millwall lost their 2 main strikers in today’s game, Bradshaw and Ojo with what appear to be be serious injuries. This should help the cause come Saturday .Millwall a massive game for us, they conceded last min today so good opportunity for us to grab 3 points and move up the table.
1 case of covid and a cancelled game for them next week then?Millwall lost their 2 main strikers in today’s game, Bradshaw and Ojo with what appear to be be serious injuries. This should help the cause come Saturday .
Don’t think 50 will be needed this season aswellWe owe Millwall one after losing unfairly at their ground. As for relegation, if 50 is the magic number, We need 17 points from 20 games. Can anyone honestly not see us managing that?
Derby still 8 points from safety and tbh they may not survive past FebruaryLooking at the fixtures of Derby Posh and Barnsley I'm expecting Derby to stay up so the other 2 and 1 more to go down , Posh's fixtures look the most difficult.
45Don’t think 50 will be needed this season aswell
Derby won’t exist in May. Nobody’s taking that mess on.For the bottom 3 I think it’ll be any of the current 6.
Hull, Reading, Cardiff, Posh, Derby, and Barnsley
Personally I’d like to see Derby stay up, and I think Reading will too.
Cardiff are in a major slump as are Posh.
So my prediction is Barnsley, Cardiff, Peterborough.
It would be interesting to see if Derby’s survival relies on their final fixture of the season against us at BR.
Derby won’t exist in May. Nobody’s taking that mess on.
The fanbase is irrelevant. £80m needed and 2 legal battles with other clubs to win first. Who’s taking it on ????I think they'll survive as a club, the fan base all but guarantees that, but the price is going to be losing all their best players before the end of this window.
On what basis?Bristol City will drop
They're gashOn what basis?
Sorry to have questioned such comprehensive football knowledgeThey're gash
Aren't we only just half way through the season? I think we've only played 3 teams twice and we've played more games than most.Looking at the fixtures of Derby Posh and Barnsley I'm expecting Derby to stay up so the other 2 and 1 more to go down , Posh's fixtures look the most difficult.
No not for meLooking at the fixtures of Derby Posh and Barnsley I'm expecting Derby to stay up so the other 2 and 1 more to go down , Posh's fixtures look the most difficult.
I don’t think it’ll even be close for us.Realistically I can't see any the bottom 6 catching us, however we need to be targeting 15 points from the remains 60.
48 will be more than enough this season.
I'm with Jakeyr's OP on Derby staying up form-wise but I'm with you re the state of the contracts and the Club. Anything could happen.I think Derby are going to lose some big players over the window, if not they may well go pop.
There's a chance Reading will have a further deduction. No not for me
They need to gain 7 points just to catch up with Reading who also have a game in hand and that’s with reading getting no more points, id love to see it happen though
