What is the concensus on Critchleys breaking point? Does he lose his job if we get beat by Bolton, does it go to the Portsmouth game or is it end of the season?

I know it's not a foregone conclusion as he may turn it round but I feel the dreaded vote of confidence isn't far away.

Not going anywhere this season. From Sadler’s point of view there is no need. Safe from relegation, so even if we don’t make the play offs which is a seriously long way off, he would not be willing to pay out a substantial amount in compensation for no reason.
If he is in it for the long term which he had assured us on many occasions that he is, then a regular solid place in Div 1 whilst developing the east stand, training ground etc etc is progress and that is hard to argue against.
Once all that is in place, then a concerted attack on promotion would be the new goal.

But if people can't be arsed going why should he be bothered to invest if every time the football isn't clicking they just see their arses?

Because the supporters are his customers surely he doesn't want to alienate them? It's a business at the end of the day, he knew the score when he bought the club, maybe he should of thought a lot harder about it than he did.

That could be the plan. Not what we as fans hope but better than league 2.

I think Sadler will dig his heels in even if we do badly, I think he will be here for the start of next season.
Oh 100% - Critch will highlight it's his first season back, January transfers yet to bed in, working with Downes on recruitment, our very good home record and the cup runs. Sadly season ticket sales will tell Sadler what the fans have thought of his time in charge.

I think this is pretty much spot on and like you have put it is very hard to argue against. I do think that next season the goal will be going for promotion but this season I think it was steady things down, rebuild a team and build ready for next year. Again this is pretty much what has been done so as to whether it's been a decent season or not depends entirely on your point of view.

I’m pretty sure in one of the few statements released, he said as much about his vision for the club.
More entertaining football would be nice but in my mind the bigger picture is what will count in the long term.

But I'm not talking about that.
Well it sounds like you want “The Dream Owner”.

Who’ll recruit the “Dream Manager”.

Who’ll take us from league to league comfortably without ever losing a match.

The truth is we’re very lucky to have Sadler. There was no real alternative.

Accept those facts and put your grumbles and “solutions” into perspective.

But thankfully he did - how many people out there (not chancers) are willing to throw more than £10 million at an average League One club. I find it amazing that we all seem to have forgotten what state the club was in five years ago.

The “product” we’ve had at home has been pretty good, we’ve seen a load of goals and plenty of wins. It’s been a bit dull at times but they’ve been the games where we’ve been cruising.

If anything people should stop travelling to away games as they definitely haven’t been value for money.

There’s plenty on here who don’t buy anything and watch it all for free.

Fans turn against him in the ground until then fuck all will happen.
Especially not a load hot air on a poxy no mark football forum.
If it’s such a no mark forum, why do you waste your time on it multiple times a day every day. Without fail. Get a life.

And how about you get a life you miserable old tosser who NEVER posts anything positive.

I love Avftt but in the grand scale of things including the majority of our fanbase who don't post on this site it really is a no mark.👍

I've been watching Blackpool for 60 years, so that theory is bollox.
Correct. Football is the one product where the majority of the customer base will continue to buy the product no matter what. It’s not a Tesco/Aldi/Asda situation.
I’ve had ST’s most of the last 30 years and not once has the quality of football I’m likely to see crossed my mind when renewing.
Not because I’m an Uber fan, but the social side is the main draw for me. If the footballs great then great, if not I’ve forgotten about it pretty quickly.
