Yes because we all flocked to the early rounds when it was called the LDV or whatever in droves.

Did we fuck no difference between this and league cup most don't give a toss until the later rounds.

It helps players returning from injury and development players as it is a competitive match and from matches I have seen is treated as such.

Well I have enjoyed the games this season so far and seen a couple of players in the flesh for the first time. Not the same as a league game with all the stress about getting a result but an entertaining football fix nevertheless.

I went to both the Liverpool U21 and Morecambe games, definitely treated as development squad/ returning injured player games, Gabriel certainly seemed up for it against the Shrimps.
