Ha ha ha. You’re joking aren’t you?He was really good today, better than £1m Bowler.
But needs to back that up now!
Really ? No way was he better than Bowler - CJ had a quiet first half but grew in confidenceHe was really good today, better than £1m Bowler.

Agree with Rocks but thought he had poor service from Garbutt.I thought he struggled to get into the game to be honest. He wasn’t picking up at throws in etc and looked off the pace.
But hey, he contributed to the goal and nearly got 90 minutes under his belt which can only help.
Agree TAM jnrSlowly grew into the game and found his feet in the second half. Great determination and I hope he’s picked up confidence from today’s performance.
I thought he was poor first half but improved in the second. That said, yes his crosses were very good.Put in the cross for the goal and 3 more crosses in the second half that could have resulted in goals, well played lad.
Yep. Bowler was better and that’s not a comment about CJ’a performance at all.Really ? No way was he better than Bowler - CJ had a quiet first half but grew in confidence
Exactly that, and he was covering in defence first half because Garbutt was getting forward so much.First half no one passed to him or played him in. 2nd half he was much more involved. Pleased for him.
He's coming on well but he wasn't better than Bowler. He was really good today, better than £1m Bowler.
But needs to back that up now!
First half AK he failed to come off the line and make the movements for LG to pick him out, 2nd half much betterLooked lost first half.
Much better 2nd half.
Yeh spot on. He was almost hiding, Garbutt had no option to feet.First half AK he failed to come off the line and make the movements for LG to pick him out, 2nd half much better
Both of them were excellent today, some of the touches that Bowler didwere unbelievably good.Ha ha ha. You’re joking aren’t you?
I don’t want it to be a Go Compare and CJ did well on the goal, but for the whole game Bowler was levels above CJ today. Both of them were excellent today, some of the touches that Bowler didwere unbelievably good.
Think the team need to get used to playing with a left winger again rather than Keshi who cuts in a lot. Thought in the first half we missed him and could have done with his movement to give Dougall and Connolly a passing opportunity.First half no one passed to him or played him in. 2nd half he was much more involved. Pleased for him.
He might try Anderson's trick of turning side on to the ball and passing it forwards to himself.I’ve said it before - we need to stick with CJ.
Once he’s fully recovered 99% of defenders can’t live with his pace. NC needs to teach him how to pass to himself by dinking it over the top or beating the opposition over 20 yard dash.
Thought was poor first half, statuesque in fact, but stuck with it and improved massively second half. Maybe just needs a run of games to get back to his old self.Agree TAM jnr
have you been on the pop, £1m if he is sold for less than £4m they don't no what a good player is and we will get nowhere near a top team selling for less.He was really good today, better than £1m Bowler.
But needs to back that up now!
Sometimes I wonder what you know about football and why you actually bother to watch it . If indeed you do watch it. Each week , win or lose, you just seem thoroughly depressed by the whole thing . Would love for you to completely surprise us by writing an upbeat , positive post sometime . Prove to us you can .Go on , you know you want to .Not for me I’m afraid. He’s not got the intelligence for Championship football, he’s ok as a substitute but not a starter.
Yep, many on here said he wasn't good enough bit he showed glimpses and hasn't had a run in the side yet.Put in the cross for the goal and 3 more crosses in the second half that could have resulted in goals, well played lad.
True, but did nothing first half. He's played much better than that for us. Needs more game time.CJ had a really good second half. Should help rebuild his confidence.
I was seriously impressed with CJ's showing today, easily the best he's been since his first injury. What about Big Gaz's sublime control and through ball to slip him through for the chance that led to our goal though? Vying for best moment in the match, alongside that bit where Old Blakey blocked one with his arse and Bowler's moment of trickery where he beat about six of their defenders Pat Nevin style.CJ was brilliant today. He's much better playing on his natural left side than trying to be an "inverted" winger.
There was one time when he was running for a ball against their right back - CJ started a yard behind and ended up with the ball a yard in front of him - talk about afterburners! Their RB had a go at some of their players after this and seemed to be saying, "FFS, gimme some help with this guy!"
Teams already know to put three defenders onto Bowler on the right wing. If they have to put three on to CJ on the right wing that'll leave some massive spaces down the middle for our strikers to exploit!
