Champions League Final Thread.

Unbelievable save that at the end. Not a fan of City at all but fair play to them. 24 years ago the last time that treble was done. Inter had plenty of chances to equalise but the winning goal was a cracker.

Well done Abu Dhabi Ltd Co Cheat FC managed by loadsamoney Fraudiola you were shit in the final. What a fairytale, I'm all dewy eyed with emotion. An oil rich, corrupt state bought a football club (when they were shit) and have turned them into world beaters via financial clout, its so heartwarming.
Hopefully they fill their rented stadium with an army of pretend fans!
UTTER WANK
PS Haaland is great playing Southampton at home

There should be no such thing as fair play rules

If an owner wants to spend millions then why shouldn't he be allowed

It's always been the case that the richest clubs win things as they are able to sign the best players
Ridiculous. You’ll just get the Arab owned clubs dominating the PL and the gap will get wider and wider.

Well said.

Not buying it’s an emotional football fairytale, what a load of shite. Luton getting promoted not this lot buying success.

Gulf in class will just get bigger and bigger and greed dominate our PL for years to come.

1. City have been excellent this season and deserve it

2. Sportswashing - billions to spend
Only Sheik Mansour 's 2nd game watching City (Vice president of UAE) for the reward of his investment.

Take your pick, and it's not about being miserable, it's about wanting competitive sport.

what a miserable bunch[ polite word] some of you are. Get of your moral high horses! It's football and it's what's happening. If you don't like it go and find another sport or hobby and be miserable there.
Well said. It's a historical moment for a grand old English club that have been through the ringer for donkeys years.

They were lucky enough to get a backer any supporter of a football club would take and now they are making history.

It's great for English football.

Anyone thinks otherwise MUST be a closet United fan.

utter bollocks. That game was competitive tonight. And four of Citys last five EPL titles have been won on the last day of the season. That's competitive too. Or is competition in your mind thinking L2 teams should be beating teams like City. Was the top division competitive back in the 80's when Liverpool were dominating it?

Boo hoo hoo, life's not fair. Well take your ball home then!

Embarrassing post. Go to bed

To win that treble is incredible, they've had to chase Arsenal down in the league after being behind and anything can happen in cup competitions. It probably won't be done again for a long time. Reading some of the comments on here , well your not real football fans, living in your own little jealous worlds and completely missing the point of a historic football moment.

yep, Shandy is the poster who admits he's not a Blackpool fan but refuses to say which team he does support. His political/geographical view is that there shouldn't be any borders between countries yet here he is moaning about foreign investment into our football teams. Double standards. Jeez, the way he talks here you'd think he was a strong Brexiteer.

Enjoyed that final, not many are classics but City deserve the accolades.

For me, it’s about what happens on the pitch and those lads deserve it, fair few English lads too.

Generally don’t have much time for city. I worked in their club shop the season we got promoted and a bit of the prem season. They weren’t happy for me at all when we went up, they came across as inherently bitter arseholes. Maybe the success has changed that.

Don't get jack grealish rarely creates anything all he seems to do is dive invite fouls and come inside and pass back .Contributed zilch to that game as usual

good job that Pep gets him then! And Grealish wasn't the only under performing player.City clearly not at their fluent best but you have to give Inter credit for that.
