Charlton Athletic v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 07.10.23

Thank god Critchley knows what hes doing hey! Any other manager wouldnt be surprised that sitting back for 90 minutes game after game doesnt inspire confidence in your team. We have nothing in midfield and should have lost this from 2 up. But he's the best man for the job so alls good Simon 🙄

Bore off, weirdo.

Not exactly the controlled performance you're supposed to get from a Critchley team. Wasted opportunity with a few positive things to show here and there such as how to use Dembele properly. That first goal of theirs was a shocker though

Can’t say we was robbed because we actually gave it away. I think Critchley got the subs all wrong. He didn’t react to theirs - anyone could see we needed more height at the back when they changed.

Would usually take a draw down there - but it should have been a win.

Just caught a nice message from their announcer saying well done to our fans for their travelling a long way and the support. Well said fella!

Very good match, we were bossing it until the changes.
Crowd got their money’s worth
These things happen but pleased with the performance until the last 10 minutes when we totally lost control

Pompy and Oxford 12 and 11 point in front of Blackpool after todays results.
Think we may have used the same shipbuilders for our SSpisstheleague ship as Nob end.

Let's look on the bright side we'll only be 2 or 3 points behind the teams in the playoffs IF we win our game in hand🤷
