Looking for the best Chinese takeaway, heard the one on Devvy rd is the best. Recommendations please. Tyia.
 
Personally I would get a take away from the Manderin or the wok inn if they do them. Tried both on Devi rd and found them par for the course.
 
Where do they do the best chicken curry? Cleveleys end of town.
Not one that blows your socks off. Just a nice one. My regular Chinese changed hands and I tried elsewhere - not good.

There's two on Devvy Rd near the pub so don't know which you mean. The Welcome opposite the pub for me used to be the best but it deteriorated pretty badly and I've nor been there for four years or so, The other one [called One I think] I've heard good reports of and I've been a couple of times in the lat couple of years and it's good but for me didn't match the Welcome at it's finest.
 
IN Cleveleys there are three in the middle of town on Vic rd ,I found the best one is the Tasty Wok next to the post office ,also handy for Wetherspoons for a quick pint while your waiting.

Other than that a lot of Chinese places serve food that all tastes the same.

Some-one a while back said it was very good but it's sort of just never in the area where I am.

Yeah they are excellent. Go the extra mile. Everything comes in the larger round containers and it's always beautifully presented. They never used to deliver but do now. But then you need cash. Shame they are n't on Uber Eats or Just Eat.

I felt the same about the Welcome 20’s. But it’s got much better again.
Been twice in the past couple of months and the standard is back up again 👍

Dunes then Abbey Road a regular trip for me when I lived on Sandgate. Not been since. 20 years ago but I think still under same ownership

Im sorry but you cant trust someone who orders a chicken curry from the chinese 😝
 
Grew up around Chinese takeaways. My friend’s parents owned & ran 4 in the area over a number of years. Lunch time at college was often some special dish not even on the menu. Happy days. 😁

Abbey Road was always my go to Chinese but then about 15 years ago it went shite. I thought it had been taken over now and I was gonna give it another go!
