My mum has just text me the same thing! Madness. If I pay my son some money to hoover the stairs he can come into my house. Hmm
Whoosh. You could, but that would be contrary to government advice....No different to paying your kid to fix your boiler or wire a plug is it?
Sorry....Is there something I ought to be aware of ?Whoosh.
Not really mate. I was just being facetious at the absurdity of the situation we all find ourselves in.Sorry....Is there something I ought to be aware of ?
I thought, I'd missed something obvious, like maybe Bojo had been shagging his cleaner or sommat... Shame... That would have at least brightened the day up a bit.Not really mate. I was just being facetious at the absurdity of the situation we all find ourselves in.
Its a Piers Morgan moment. Not really mate. I was just being facetious at the absurdity of the situation we all find ourselves in.
If only.I thought, I'd missed something obvious, like maybe Bojo had been shagging his cleaner or sommat... Shame... That would have at least brightened the day up a bit.
I imagine its much easier to social distance from a person employed to clean your house than it is with a loved one. Its fascinating how people try to find a work round procedures put in place to keep us safe.I think it’s the contradiction of being able to let a complete stranger into your house to clean, but not being able to have a family member come into your house to visit.
There is certainly something in the British mentality that immediately looks to circumvent any instruction, regardless of the consequences.I imagine its much easier to social distance from a person employed to clean your house than it is with a loved one. Or your "niece" if you're Owen OystonOnly if you're a footballer
No we haven’t been out for 7 weeks my husband or I only hubby takes dog a walk.Have you covid 19 or got symptoms michelle, have they got it or symptoms,if the answer is no then I would use your commonsense and have them. Whether you wish to practice safe distancing or wear ppe is up to yourself,I would if giving a hug.
That's true... there are so many anomalies with "relaxing" the rules a little bit but I guess that's inevitable. If they can have cleaners in ( which you can ) paid childminders can have have kids in. Why the fuck can’t I have my two little grandchildren. Not all grandparents are over 70 ffs.
This question was asked on bbc news this morning to Matt Hancock and he said because they’re trying to protect the elderly over 70s. We’re not all old grandparents
Same with taxi drivers- can’t mix with their grandkids unless the meters running! That's true... there are so many anomalies with "relaxing" the rules a little bit but I guess that's inevitable.
There will be many current 40 - 60 year old teachers and teaching assistants who are also grandparents - allowed to mix with hundreds of other people's grandchildren but not their own
I know you don't care but, for anyone who is interested, she was the President of the Oxford University Conservative Association. Nick Robinson was too coincidentally.Think Laura Kuenssberg made the perfectly valid point on the news yesterday. The gov't can issue advice but it is impossible for it to cover every scenario. Yet here we have people deliberately being goddam awkward for no other reason than it doesn't suit their political agenda. And I genuinely don't know whether she's red or blue and neither do I care. She just made a perfectly valid point by stating the obvious.
Nope, had no idea. I find it amusing to read the right wing accusing people of being biased towards the left and the left wing accusing people being biased towards the right. The only left wing and right wing I'm fussed about are those in the Blackpool team.I know you don't care but, for anyone who is interested, she was the President of the Oxford University Conservative Association. That might suggest that the BBC are getting it right by managing to piss off both sides. (Retires to safe distance)Nope, had no idea. My cleaning lady has come as usual once a week whilst I am at work. She wears gloves to come in then washes her hands. Just common sence really.
