Cod's away ticket details...

Don't believe all this not interested stuff.

It's an away game, nothing more, and for the vast majority the added benefit of being 20 mins down the road. But why would anyone not be interested. 🙄

Just got 3 of our group of 5. Hopefully can sort the other 2 tomorrow.
I’ve been following BFC home and away over 30years and I can honestly say I’ve never been to fleetwood away. Just a club and town I’ve no interest in. I’ve been to Barnsley derby West Brom Birmingham away etc etc.

Me too. Been all over the country but Fleetwood doesn't excite me 1 bit. In fact I actively avoid the place.

Midweek with no trains back it's a nightmare for exiles

Not everyone lives 20 mins away

Weird how they are giving priority to fans who have put money in other club's pockets 🙄
Would you prefer these categories?
1. Corporate sponsors
2. Box holders
3. Matthews lounge st holders
4. 53 club st holders
5. Shirt sponsors

All put more money into BFC.

Or does someone who follows the Pool home and away regularly really deserve to go? It's a way of life for many, every week.

Anyone purchased yet?

Not been to any away game however have bought for Charlton away.
It seems that future away fixtures are not considered.
Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Box holders and I imagine corporate sponsors were given first refusal on tickets.

I managed to get 2 this morning, having only been to Wolves this season. I suspect they'll be gone soon as I went back to try and get some more for my friend and niece (both done 1 or more away days) and the website wouldn't let me.

Got my remaining two.

I assume you assigned them as it should allow if they're on the 1 game list.

It was spinning at the step before assigning them. Not to worry, I have tickets for me and my brother so it is all good.
It timed me out first at the payment approval stage. Might have been site traffic. Went in straight after and worked no problem. If still missing try again.

We can’t even have a post about purchasing away tickets without people moaning or having a pop at somebody else. I don’t get this site at times!

If people want to go then they’ll purchase tickets. If transport links for those that live a little further away aren’t great, well just like away games for those that live local, it’s unfortunate, but a decision for individuals to make.

As for the ridiculous comment about fans that put money into other clubs pocket, that beggars belief! I think it’s a fair system. I’ve had to wait until this morning (Thu) to purchase my ticket as I’ve only done Lincoln this season, but I never did Barnet so count myself lucky I’m in.

People, lighten up please. It’s a game of football and we’re fortunate enough we have this in our life and can attend!

UTMP.

Personally speaking, I've been to Fleetwood before.. It's a shit ground, shit atmosphere, shit town etc... It's just not a fixture that I feel compelled to travel to. As you say, "It's an away game, nothing more" and so there's no particularly special reason to go there. Whether it's 20 mins away or a couple of hours away is of little consequence to me TBH, I'd rather go to the Away Games that offer a bit of interest... A decent day out in a different Town / City etc.. Fleetwood on a Wednesday Night in November ... I'm not sure you could find a more unattractive fixture

When you put it like that...

It might well be a shit ground and a shit atmosphere but as for a shit town?

I’d look a bit nearer home if I were you central drive and Grange park are what you call shit.

Fleetwood is like any other town it has some good and some bad things about it truth be known it has some nice places it’s clear you’ve never visited them but for someone calling Fleetwood shit living in Blackpool is a bit far fetched if truth be known in fact I’d say it’s quite laughable.

Totally agree.

I was raised for the majority in Fleetwood after living on Knowle Avenue for a couple of years. Ok so it is never going to be a town I’d want to move back to, but neither is Blackpool. As much as I find it annoying that people slate it, it’s true, large areas of Blackpool are run down and dirty, Fleetwood is no different, but we should embrace our roots!

Hence the FY7 Pool flag in the NW corner!

Morretti of course!

@Jaffa_The_Hut will be shocked but I like Fleetwood as a well designed and set out town.

The football team are a different matter

Live in Fleetwood, love the town, most of the people, just not my team. A lot of people fought long and hard for Blackpool FC. As did people from far and wide, which is testament to our great club, but we shouldn't forget where these people came from and live. But, Cods 0 Blackpool 2.

Fleetwood is a great place, people are friendly and look out for each other.

In my opinion the Prom along Laidleys Walk & The Esplanade equals or beats any piece of prom across the whole Fylde coast.🧡

Yep like all towns it has its “not so good bits”.

I was born in Bispham and proud of it as everyone should be of their roots, but that has its “not so good bits” too, as indeed does Poulton where I am lucky enough to live now.

People who slag other peoples towns off are totally childish, ignorant & disrespectful.

However when it comes to match night v TMP….I hope Fleetwood “get stuffed” !!!
⚽🧡🚌😂🤣

It's got to day 3 - would have thought they'd include non ST holders who've been to 1+ away in this window.

Season Ticket holders should always come first - as they have upfront funded the club.
And they have, and rightly so. Just personal opinion that 'cat 3" could have recognised the group that have travelled but for whatever reason haven't got a ST - cost, locality, shift workers, e.g. my youngest has a ST but can only get to around 15 games due to him being a prison officer.

If it’s rightly so in your words - why do you then state a different opinion?

Managed one for myself just before 10 but when I tried again it was blanked out.
Tried several options without success.
On the phone now, at least 30 ahead of me!
Not sure if they are holding some at ticket office
