Coventry, ticket sales?

Someone said it was about 600 which sounds disappointingly low to me as it's in the do'able post work distance.

I'm still wavering but still recovering from flu, hopefully I feel better by Tuesday and there are on the night options for a ticket. 🤞🏼

Hopefully there will be POTG options and a few more head over to Cov, the lads absolutely deserve our backing. Hopefully both Marv and Stewart will be available.

The reason there are no coaches is cos it’s not financially viable, ie they won’t fill it, there were three massive piles of cov tickets left when I picked mine up this morning (definitely more than 300) Anything over 400 is a good following 👍🏻

The club should always do a coach - you make a profit on some, a loss on others.

I'd be amazed that there wasn't enough for one coach.

I would like to go but like many others I work and can’t guarantee to be finished in time so no point getting a ticket. I’m less than 50% sure of being able to go.
POTG would give more people the option of going
It’ll be the red button and a couple of beers for me

Anything under 700 is not good for us.

From what l know they didn’t even consider putting a coach on for this game, although they do for most Saturday games. If they would have really advertised it they would have filled it no problem, I’ve spoke to quite a few who would have preferred the coach rather than drive there. Lost opportunity here to get more fans there.

Exactly, driving home late on a Tuesday night is not fun or safe, surely we would fill a coach. Just advertise and let people know

They’re all bigger clubs than us though. Blackpool away on a Tuesday night is more attractive than Coventry.

Hasn’t been the case for boro, stoke, hudders and cov at Bloomfield road this season
Think your being a bit harsh, Coventry is a decent sized city, maybe brought 1700 to us. Their population is maybe 380-400k.

Boro take massive following everywhere and their population is the Middlesbrough and teesside area. Teeside is a similar size population to Coventry.

Huddersfield is a shorter journey than to Coventry, half the distance and time. They brought about 1300 I think.

We had sold about high seven hundreds and will get some more on the day.

Maybe not the best turnout ever but not a shambles.

Perhaps the SLO can look into the reason as to why the club has not put coaches on for this game, it does seem very shortsighted of them.

Definitely has something to do with it. Nobbers took 1100 to WBA other week mind.
Who cares, we've taken more than them to some other games. Plus WBA are an ex prem side with more of a draw than Coventry. They have their new manager buzz still and have pulled out some improved results.

Not to mention away trips are that bit further and more costly from Blackpool. When time is tight like tomorrow to get there after work an extra 20 or so mins makes it even harder to get there on time.
