It hit his head and it was offside. Also their penalty could have stood. So, at worst, it's a 3-1 win. We'd have taken that as well.

Wasn't offside, looks level, no pen, he ran into Dougall.

It was one of those days we had a bit of luck however we were the better team for most of the game and deserved the win.
When we lost 3-0 at Lincoln, it was their day to have good fortune with 2 penalties and a deflected goal yet the usual AVFTT critics were calling us a poor team and certain players ( who were in the starting 11 yesterday)never to wear a tangerine shirt again.

Considering the record will show it 0-4 and 3pts it could very easily have been closer. We’ve all seen penalties given for less and the red card wouldn’t have been so certain to follow. Two deflected goals in our favour and Marv doing his best to make it 1-1…. But it was our day.

In mine above at #16 I wrote about Bees being offside and the penalty decision being wrong. As for deflections, they're part and parcel of football so I've no problem with CJ's shot and goal.
