I’ve always said Blackpool as a club is a great fit for a North West Manager. It has an amazing fan base, Premier League potential and with the big six (maybe twelve) wanting experienced Foreign managers why would you not commit.

Shows there is a long term plan for this club around this manager, protects him from too much pressure during any poor runs of results, protects the club financially should any major club that he professionally can’t refuse come knocking for him.

It's what I would have expected from Critch, an honourable man.
What it really means is that he knows just where he wants to be and what he is going to do for the next few years.
Critch obviously knows that he will get all the support he needs to take the club forward.
