Critchley gone

This rings alarm bells to me , theres no way Neil would of left as a coach to go to villa as a number 2 if he knew there was funds , i think he was told , no funds available because if new training ground and east stand

I said this would happen that he would leave when a “bigger” club came

I got abused for saying it, well as much as i hate this, i told ye so ffs

This is not good news and the noise coming from the club about lack of finances isn’t good either. Selling Bowler and replacing him with the likes of Kirk.
I think Crich may feel he can’t take us any further.

Apart from money I don’t get why he’d go at all. Building a club culture partly found him. Well loved at a club and could of been a legend but would rather be a number 2 at a mid table Orem club. Thanks Neil but lost bit of respect for him tbh. Shows there’s no loyalty in football.

Massive blow for us tbh.

Sadler did say that at the last meeting he was loaning the club money for projects and don't expect a load of money pumped into playing side but we where more concerned arguing about ST prices.

WTF!

This is one of the most bizarre departures of a manger we’ve had. All poised to take us forward for the next 2/3 years.

Two possibilities for me, he’s been told there’s nothing to work with in the next few years squad finances wise and thought he might as well go out on a relative high.

Second is that he knew he’d gone as far as he could in management. As much as I liked him and was willing to give him time he continued to make basic errors.

Shocked by this news.

Glad it’s come now so the plans for next season won’t be too far behind the original schedule.

Have to go for Michael Duff at Cheltenham. Same style of football and he's a classy man too. I hope the club pay the compo for him.

Is it even going as a no.2 or some sort of coaching role like he had at Liverpool? …perhaps he doesn’t like the pressure…

Maybe he felt out of his depth. He appeared to be when making some of his choices.
No hard feelings from me. Have a lot of respect for the guy. We had a mediocre season in some ways and maybe we need a change at the helm ourselves.

Wish him well and onwards and upwards for us 👍
