Critchley haters

Criticism isn't hate. I doubt that anyone hates him but a few get frustrated by some of his team selections. Even on the back of this result it makes me think if he had gone for 2 centre forwards with Dembele behind them we would've probably got something at Bolton.
As a side issue when your missus criticises you for not doing the washing up properly she doesn't want a divorce she just wants you to wash the pots properly!
More balance needed, we had a good result, Critchley made good choices, keep it up, nobody hates him.

Are there any Critchley haters? There are plenty of haters of Critchley's former negative tactics
I am a fan big of Critchley, its not what i call tinkering with team selection, what he is trying to do when he changes players is after reading through all the reports on the opposition he is picking the players who can hurt them the most but also negating any attacking threats that they have, i do get his team selections but things don't always work out as they should.

Don’t post on here regularly but had to tonight, first win against Portsmouth in the league in what 26 games? Wondering where the Critchley haters are at now? Time some of our fan base woke up and realised how lucky we are to have him, masterclass today, smell the coffee😮‍💨
He’s doing fine now he’s regularly starting Dembele, Oakley-Boothe and Connolly nowhere near the starting line up and sticking to winning teams with no needles rotation, like most of his critics have been saying

I wouldnt say i was a ‘hater’, but he was pissing me off keeping on tinkering, changing a winning team and playing players out of position..

Then look what happens when he plays our best players in their correct positions and stops tinkering, as alot off us have been crying out for all season, two 4-0s on the bounce, its not ** rocket science.

Why did it take so long for him to see it ?

We're a much better team without Connolly in it for sure. Been a good player at times but we need skilful players who can battle, he can just battle.

He must of been reading the this site we was all saying we need to play dembele behind the front two it’s taken a good while for him to figure that out hopefully we stick with the same team and let the opposition worry about us from now on
It also helps Carey as he did not know whether to attack or defend before. With Dembele in front of him he looks more settled.

When you never keep the same starting line-up (prior to the last two games), and at the same time struggle to put a few wins together, you're naturally going to draw criticism.

I don't think that just because we kept the team unchanged yesterday that NC will avoid tinkering - it's his style. But I'm fine with that because I'm seeing improvement in individual players, and their confidence is building. We're making progress and while that's the case I'm happy with it.

A note on the Bolton game which some are mentioning as a missed opportunity and we showed them too much respect. I think the biggest difference between the last two games and the Bolton game was that Dougall was suspended against Bolton. If he was available, I really think we'd have beaten them. But despite his absence, we still competed very well.

I think that is key. He clearly formed an understanding with Dembele almost immediately and he has the outlet now he didn't have before, plus it allows him to come forward with more purpose as Dembele creates space for players.

Point me to where I said they weren’t? Doesn’t change the fact their opinions are clueless, presumably you being one of them with that response🤭
Just as well you don't post on here regularly.
OP smacks of being patronising then the one above slags off the supporters who don't agree with you.
Enjoy Tuesday, you may get to post nasty hurty posts to others who don't go with the flow and have different opinions 😉

People had every right to feel aggrieved by the way he left us. He needs to win respect back. If it continues like the last two games then he’ll do that. But it takes time. At this moment every Blackpool supporter, regardless of their opinion of Critchley are celebrating 2 fantastic wins. No need for divisiveness.

Can't recall many asking for Carey to play as part of the 2 deeper midfielders, Dale or CJ at wing back ahead of Lyons, nor Beesley to start up front.

Don't recall many wanting Ekpiteta back either.

Cherry pick the calls that suit your arguments all you like, but it's transparent as fuck.

Isn't it also the 4th win on the bounce at Fratton Park and without conceding a goal in either? (Not looked it up, something the commentator said). Not being argumentative BTW, just a good omen we are someone else's bogey team.

He's got a role to play like he did yesterday. When the opposition are geeing themselves up to have a right good go at you then he's ideal to bring on to kick players and manhandle them when they're trying to play some nice football.

You cant seriously think that he reads this site?

It took him a while to work it out?

Pretty much everyone on this site had Dembele pinned as a winger.

Who do you think it was that actually first played Dembele ‘behind the front two’ at Blackpool??

Bizarre comments 😂

When he signed, it was because Critch would clearly be reverting to a 4 man defence, and to accommodate wingers.

I guess Critch didn't read that post.

Morning Neil. 😉
Same again for Tuesday please, if you can bring yourself to do it. 😁👍
Spot on pal. We won 4-0 away at top of the league because our UEFA A Licence manager decided to take some advice from tangerine_neil and the other anonymous experts on avftt.
That the one 😁👍

If we can go into Tuesday night's game with the same mentality then it could be automatic promotion at this rate but only if.....

My problem with Critchley has always been his in-game management. I think pretty much 100% agree he's a very competent coach and yesterday as Ronan might have penned: He did it best when he did nothing at all.

Same winning team.

Tuesday is now an absolute must win. Not in terms of points, but for the confidence and following up on taking a huge opportunity which they did with such style. Don't undo all the good work.

So NC takes huge credit, but it's making the right decisions week in week out that will decide where the team finish. And to that end I still want that exp No 2 in there. Do that and automatic is not beyond the squad.

I want Critchley to be successful , but I still don't like the fella and I will only forgive him fully when he takes us back to the championship where he abandoned us. I feel he owes us that ,and lets get it right ,1 win does not make a season. People were saying Exeter away was a hard game and now look at them.

The Snake can fuck off out of our club has an element of hate, I'd say, and it's not that long ago there were plenty of messages like that.

Me, actually. I said we should play him there and build the team around him.

Some random clueless bellend on AVFTT called me out on it...and said it was a stupid idea to build a team around a kid.

You said this BEFORE Critchley had played him in that position?

When was this?
Probably not long after he signed, people were writing that he is a winger where does he fit in.
We obviously weren't moving away from a back 3 and he's no wingback so you play him behind a front 2. Obvious. As I'm sure it was to Critchley when he signed him, he just had to be bold enough to put it into practice.

And it's no problem being wrong. We all have opinions, I was clearly wrong about CJ, he's turned it around this season. And you're clearly massively wrong about this.
I’d be interested to see the thread tbh.

I was waxing lyrical about Dembele before he’d kicked a ball. However I wasn’t so complimentary in the immediate aftermath of the Derby game.
