Critchley haters

you haven't answered the question so i take you have never played, lets just say i played for the club everyone on here talks about, i joined this site to see what people have to say about the team and club and maybe meet some nice people, i cant help it if i put things over in a way that people dont like
like i said, you think you know but really you know fuck all. Seems to me you've just come on here to show off about how good a footballer you think you were. Sorry, if I've put that in a way you don't like.

As i said i haven't come on here to say where i played or that i know any more than than anyone else i just comment accordingly in my terminology which is obviously above you, it is just unfortunate that i have come across a total bellend who knows nothing.
Sorry if you can't accept that someone may know more than you so get over it and crawl back in your hole
Looking at your number of posts it looks like you have nothing more than this site so carry on and enjoy :)

god help Wizaard and a few others then! 😉

And you really aren't the sharpest tool in the box are you. Your first line says you haven't come on here to say that you "know more than anyone else" but then you go and say exactly that in your third line.

FFS!! It was just a throw away similarity, I'm shocked at the reactions I got, I wish CJ would cut in and shoot more often to be honest but he's far less greedy then MB ever was.
saying anything controversial is dangerous you know. You'll never hear the last of it. 😀

i wasn't referring to anyone else just you they don't speak to me like you do, so go on read what you know about football from the back of the postage stamp you have.
yep, but its a penny black. And you've tried the big bollux stuff before about asking who posters played for. Seem to think you've got a point to prove.

Sounds like you may be an ex-Blackpool player.

If so, when did you play for us, if you dont mind sharing?

Yes i was, and more than happy to share it was early to mid eighties, i joined this site three months ago thinking i could meet nice people and maybe go over old times with people around in my time both through my junior football and me playing for other teams in the north of England and also comment on BFC who i have supported all my life. What i have found is people don't like the way i put things down in writing and think i am being clever that's not the case i just see things differently than most on here, i bet you could teach me a few things in your line of profession as could many people on here and would I be interested YES and would i say to you you are a know it all and a clever so so and cocky NO.
I think people need to realise on here that some people do know more than others on certain things in life but don't have a go at them for having more knowledge and an opinion because as we all know and think we are all always correct and we are because that's our opinion.
Please don't think this is aimed at you because it's not i am just looking at the bigger picture

This is all fair comment mate and I can appreciate where you are coming from, but rather than simply slate other people for their lack of footballing knowledge (which as I said the other night, comes across a bit shitty) why not give a bit of your own insight and allow people to see your extra understanding by explaining your own thoughts etc..?

So far there’s nothing that you’ve said on here that suggests you understand the game better or worse than anyone else… That’s not me saying you don’t (by the way) just that you haven’t demonstrated anything through your words…

I’m sure everyone would be very interested to hear the detailed input from an ex-professional and especially one who has played for Blackpool 👍

Fair shout and i take your advice on board and believe me that was never my intention if my comments came over that way, i will try harder going forward, i didn't think i was slating people they just don't like people having a different view to them.
Lesson learnt.

I don't think there's any problem giving people stick about their lack of knowledge as long as you back that up with a demonstration of your own football knowledge.

I can't speak for everyone else, but from my point of view I'd be very interested to hear a professional footballers take on things 👍

yes, heed bfc3's words of advice. 👍

i offered you the olive branch which you clearly don't want to accept so no problem.

So as i first thought you are a bit of a dickhead, full of your own ego rhat you think you know best because you allegedly say you played pro football. I like the fact you claim you've forgotten more about the game than I'll ever know. Well if that's the case suggest you get some-one takes you to the doctors as you clearly are starting to suffer with dementia.

where was the olive branch? i suppose it takes one to know one but what else should i expect from someone with limited brain cells, and a typical response with abuse unfortunately. i tell you what you grammar is terrible do you want lessons. i think its best we don't communicate your obviously a bitter and twisted man who is envious of peoples achievement's in life so take care and look after yourself.

i told you to heed bfc3's advice and gave you a thumbs up. But hey, that's gone now.

Can't recall many asking for Carey to play as part of the 2 deeper midfielders, Dale or CJ at wing back ahead of Lyons, nor Beesley to start up front.

Don't recall many wanting Ekpiteta back either.

Cherry pick the calls that suit your arguments all you like, but it's transparent as fuck.
Always been a big fan of Carey and beesley feel free to have a look at my previous posts I’m yet to be convinced of owen and Chris playing as wing backs

BFCfan33 a former Blackpool FC player .
Show him some respect .
The fact that we have a former player of our wonderful club posting on here should be something to celebrate.
He’s obviously done more in pro football than all of you lot put together .
I’d much rather read what he’s got to say about the game than you bunch of armchair managers who start spouting off after a few pints and who aren’t fit to lace his boots when it comes to football .

I'm now trying to guess which BFC former player is BFCfan33. Going for someone that will have had a combative style in football as he has with our own AVFTT midfield dog of war 20's, but then show he's a nice guy, I'll start with Mike Davies - am I right or close BFC33?

respect works both ways. He asked a question for people to name a team built around a player. I replied to that post stating nothing more than Spurs did with Kane That's all I said. He replied to me calling me clueless. So please don't start lecturing me on respect.

To be fair, if that was his first interaction with you, it wasn't a great way to make friends and influence people.

Very close same age as Mike we joined the club as apprentice's together certainly not as successful as Mike at the club though. i played up front and was with the club 4 years

I thought we had put this debate to bed, we all have our own opinions just move on.
I am a big boy and manly enough to apologise if i have upset you it certainly wasn't meant. i know where to tread going forward and as you say respect works both ways and i take your views and comment on board.

we had but then another post came along from angel which i felt needed a response from me.

Fair enough but leave me out of it please

It would be great to hear some anecdotes about your time at the club and in football in general. A lot of us, including 20s have probably watched you play. On this board there are a few wind up merchants, my advice would be to not take anything on here too seriously. It's generally a bunch of middle aged men who don't know very much about football shouting at each other. It's good therapy!

Husband for me but as you say Dougall and CJ playing their way into conrention. The latter two probably having their bests they've ever had with us.
That's fair comment.

I thought Dougall had gone tbh, but with CJ it's always been there, just never used in the right way and probably still isn't, then again he possibly thrives on being more involved rather than just being a LW.

Will be interesting to see if they can play themselves back into international contention.

Nobody hates Critchley but he is not above criticism and some of this seson's decions have been bizarre. It seems for Pompey he ditched the 3-5-2 and all our best performances have come when he's ditched it or at least tweaked it. He has a fantastic squad to work with but has often been tactically wanting and over cautious. He may turn it round but one thing is certain, our points total isn't what it should be.

I’m not convinced he’s ditched it at all to be honest. It seems to me that we did nothing different on Saturday to any other time Dembele has played.

The lad is one of a midfield 5 and given the freedom to ‘express himself’ and make things happen.

yep agree with that. i''ve mentioned it a few times but for me the key this season is always about getting the first goal. The sooner we get it it seems to give the players more confidence.

Thank you, more than happy to discuss anything you want ask away, i wont mention names because that wouldn't be right, i was a lucky one being born in Blackpool and lived locally and to play for my local club was a massive thrill as a 16 year old. i remember making my debut at 17 at Tranmere i was due to play in the youth side at squires gate on the Saturday morning and the gaffer turned up at the ground and told me, the rest of the day is history. Things have changed nowadays where diets, fitness regimes, training, Data analysts, travelling, pre and post match warm ups and downs. A lot of games that i played were in the old central league where all games were played at clubs grounds. Very goods times and the best job ever if you are a lucky one. Believe me i wish i was playing nowadays.

My opinion is that he has played the same system all season he has just adapted it due to what is happening on the pitch, for example the Shrewsbury game their full backs were not getting forward this then enables our wings backs to get forward at free will, he has certain players at his disposal who can change games, by playing Dembele he can create something from nothing in the small spaces he finds himself in, but i think in some games he may struggle to make an impact when clubs get a grip of him
