Critchley since Aston Villa

Legendary NFL coach Tom Landry suffered 5 consecutive losing seasons when appointed head coach of the Dallas Cowboys in 1960 including an 0-11 record in his first year, Dallas refused to sack him and their patience was rewarded as they were a perennial contender with a winning record for the following 21 years winning Superbowls and Conference Champion games on a regular basis.

Will SS and the fans have the same patience or does he just get binned off at Xmas if we don't improve?
We've all just to hold to the mantra AllezBlackpool keeps trotting out: 'Patience makes the heart grow fonder'.

Stats are one thing but what you can't deny is just how poor we have been so far this season.
The 2 home wins we struggled for long periods and especially Vs Wigan we were very lucky to get the 3 points when 2nd half they were all over us (like the 2nd half Vs Burton) we were also lucky to get a point Vs both Orient and Vale, again long periods where they were well on top and had they got a bit of luck we would be minus another 2 points and in the bottom 4 if Wigan and Reading hadn't cheated.
Critchley is not a good manager he got lucky 1st time round but he's been found wanting this time, he needs to think again with his poor poor tactics or he needs someone who can guide him before it's too late.
I fear mid table mediocrity this season which will be tragic.

Pretty much all of the games, we’ve lost / drawn could have very easily gone the other way.

That stat the in the OP post above was my biggest fear when we got NC back. Since leaving us he he has been on a downward spiral and not in good form. You normally never back a horse that’s in bad form.

I really hope for his and more importantly for the clubs sake, he picks this form up or he’ll end up like another Grayson. On the scrap heap because he has failed at his last 3 to 4 jobs.
Downward spiral because he didn’t turn QPRs season around in 8 games?

It was actually 12 games. But why argue whether he did bad or really bad at QPR.

You can’t deny he’s not done well since leaving us but and you’re going have to deal with the fact that his form is spiralling. I hope for the sake of the club he turns it around.

The problem with QPR was that they changed it and got themselves out of trouble before It was too late.
