Critchley to Liverpool

Look at how he did at at Mainz, a small club with very limited resources. And when he took over at Dortmund, even though they were a much bigger club, they were in a terrible state, financially and on the pitch.
I had no idea about his past. TBH.

If he had stayed at Blackpool and got us promoted to the premier league he may well have had a small chance, but he lost that when he went to
coach for Gerrard.

There seems to be very few coaches who can genuinely take a relatively small club with limited finances to great heights, or even moderate heights. Ranieri seems to be one, Eddie Howe has done some decent work on a limited budget. I think a Clough or a Paisley would put most modern coaches in the shade, with their overly complex and very rigid systems.

Don’t think this will happen he’s not ready yet to be Liverpool head coach needs a few more years in management.

He’s got a big job to do here first by getting us promoted.

True there are very few coaches who can do that. But Klopp's one of them. He's a massive loss to Liverpool and I think they'll find him very hard to replace.

Some posters refer to us as a tinpot club, and now the tinpot posters are coming out of the woodwork.

If you don't like what we are, who we are and where we are, sod off and support someone else, but don't rock our boat.

Fleetwood would welcome you, PNE seem to bounce around the championship, and there are many others.

Spot on Wilf
They’d don’t know the meaning of the word support and that is probably because they haven been to a game in their lives

If Gerrard gets the job then I think there’s every possibility Critchley going as his No2 or in some other capacity.

Why wouldn’t he?
He wouldn’t do it to SS a second time plus he made it clear in his interview with radio lancs he wouldn’t and I believe him.
