Could have been Jordan Henderson
Roy Hodgson. Can anyone name a manager whose second spell managing a particular club was better and more successful than his first?
Only when he retires SEASIDETime to let it go Bendit.
Or the other way roundCritchley with Dobbie as assistant I can definitely get behind.
That would be good !Or the other way round
Assuming dobbie is willing to be an assistant? ..Critchley with Dobbie as assistant I can definitely get behind.
Even betterOr the other way round
Yep good pointAssuming dobbie is willing to be an assistant? ..
ToughPlease no, not Quitchley, that would be a massive mistake.
Pleased for WoyRoy Hodgson.
I had an interview but I never went to it.I went to the bookies to put a bet on the next manager but they wouldn't give me odds because they'd never heard of him! How could they never have heard of hertfordseasider? I told them he'd be a world record making manager, the first manager never to actually turn up to watch his team play but they were unconvinced!
Credit where credit's due... good reply sir!I had an interview but I never went to it.
Me too. I like itCritchley with Dobbie as assistant I can definitely get behind.
Yeah the whole promotion thing was pure luck to be fair. Not for me. Albeit he got us promoted, I thought we played boring possession based football which was dire.
Not to mention the times he got it wrong in terms of personnel and tactics Peterborough, PKE away, Cardiff, Coventry and Huddersfield at home... another manager who just happened to have a purple lucky patch at Blackpool never to be repeated again.
So a massive NO from me in the same manner I didn't want Appleton.
Lucky purple patch best team in league one for the last 3/4 of the season, then 16th in our first season back after being favourites to finish bottom. Give your head a wobbleNot for me. Albeit he got us promoted, I thought we played boring possession based football which was dire.

I don't expect him to perform any better than Bowler did! I hope I'm wrong if he does come back!If he did come back with his tail between his legs like Bowler did I hope he's match fit
You or I would be better than either of those 2. Personally I'd give it to Dobbie or someone else young & hungry. To be fair to him we were the best side in league 1 that season apart from a poor start. He will need to rebuild the team again as well so he, or whoever gets it will need to be backed. If he does get it I think it will be a mistake but I will support him 100% and I hope Dobb’s gets assistant. He needs to recover his reputation and he will be much better than MA or McSaurus.
Rather it was Dobbie personally. Critchley/dobbie would be decent but he didn’t say goodbyyyyueeeeee.
That would be superbI would go so far as to say a Critchley/Dobbie manager/assistant with Bowyer as Director of Football would be a good combination.
What with Grayson as kit man, Appleton as security & McCarthy as chief pie tasterI would go so far as to say a Critchley/Dobbie manager/assistant with Bowyer as Director of Football would be a good combination.
Dobbie is 40, Critchley is 44.Personally I'd give it to Dobbie or someone else young & hungry.
But I said I don't want Critchley backDobbie is 40, Critchley is 44.
Putting cones out on the hard luck shoulderIf it had been Critchley it would have been obvious as he would have passed you in reverse, he doesnt know how to pass forward.
Except Critchley wasn't a duff manager. Duh.Really hope not. SS has gone back for previous duff managers twice already. Learn from your mistakes Simon. No, no, no.
Yeah learn from the money Bowler brought in, the values of Grimshaw, Ekpiteta and Yates, and a promotion in his first season.Really hope not. SS has gone back for previous duff managers twice already. Learn from your mistakes Simon. No, no, no.
