We can today confirm the signing of Blackpool forward Jake Daniels, on an initial one-month deal.

Jake joined the Blackpool Academy at the age of seven and has featured regularly for the youth team in the 2021/22 campaign.

Rewarded with a professional contract in February 2022, he scored 30 goals during the season, won the Youth Team’s Player of the Season award and made his first-team debut against Peterborough United.

He also enjoyed a productive loan spell with Bamber Bridge at the end of the 2021/22 season.

Jake is available for selection in today’s match vs Warrington Rylands. Stay tuned to our socials for the latest updates!

Only surprised is the level, could have done with being a bit higher.
 
They’ve won 3 and lost 19 so far. Bit of a strange move. He’s on the bench today.
Hope he gets the minutes and bags some goals and assists.

Only just caught up on this one and can I say how refreshing it is they didn't mention he is gay!
At last the lad can get on with his career and get back to doing what he was doing before without that tag.
As great as it was for him, I do wonder if it killed his career for 12 months because his head was turned.

Why did you feel the need to mention his sexual orientation?
While people keep bringing this fact up I assume it will always be the weight around his neck.
 
That's how you introduce yourself, great touch to get it under and then the strike.

Pretty much guaranteed he'll be there for just the month. Look forward to tracking his progress.

Realistically, can anyone see him playing in our first team - I’d like to think so but he seems to be making slow progress considering he made his debut two years ago.

He’s only recently recovered from an injury.
If Dobbie was in charge, there would be a route to the 1st team, most probably via sub appearances or Cup matches at first.
Let’s see what he can do on loan
