Deadline Day Thread

With a little over 24hrs to go and several players being linked, it really could be critical to our ambitions this season. It seems Dujon Sterling is likely to be officially announced soon and we have had bids in for Brannagan and Dale. What we don't know is if the arrival of Wintle is the end of our hunt for a midfielder, I certainly hope not.

Confirmed:
Ryan Wintle - Loan
Dujon Sterling - Loan
Jordan Gabriel - 4+1

Nobbers rumoured to be in for Willy Little from Goole though it could be a load of bollocks.⚽⚽

What we all reckon we need
RB , attacking midfielder are a must for me , CDM maybe , another winger or striker maybe
hopefully two weeks we get couple injures back
on another note , i loan out CJ get him some matches for fitness till January, then he comes back match fitness for pool run in

Feeling confident we will all be sitting at home tomorrow night very pleased with our business.

If we end the day with Dujon Sterling and one of Dale/Brannagan I'll be proper chuffed.

Some people are saying we need 4-5 player, but I really don't see thing that way, a RB is a must (we've hopefully got Sterling), we already got a Grant Ward replacement in Ryan Wintle, players like Brannagan/Dale would be the cherry on top, but if we miss out on both (which is possible) then I still think we've done well.

Everybody expects Deadline Day to be filled with plenty of signings, because we've honestly been spoiled by Simon Sadler.

On January's Deadline Day, we signed one player (Embleton) and fans were up in arms thinking that the club had missed a trick, but we all know that ultimately the club made the right decision to not push the boat out for anyone.

Sadler, Mansford, and Critchley will make the decisions that are to the best interest of the club; if that means going out and getting a quality player like Dale or Brannagan, then they will, but just because we don't splash the cash doesn't mean that they've done any wrong.

Trust that the right decisions will be made (which sometimes means not making a decision). 🍊

If we got Stirling, Wintle and Dale that would be really good end to the transfer window. If we got Brannagan takes it to another level. Add a big mobile centre forward and surely everybody who posts on here would feel very happy.......wouldn't they?

Sterling, plus someone lethal on the left, that would be a nice luxury addition. Dale? Maybe.

Oh, and Simms. Obviously. 🤠

I’ve reached 62 likely happy posters and counting….

Does anyone actually watch that shite on sky sports news?

(Stupid Jim White mode on)

" Oh and were hearing that Anderson has moved from Lyon to Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee"

Wow, earth shattering🤦‍♂️

Buzzing with sterling joining, sounds like he’s a powerhouse and comfortably ready for the championship. Was hoping it wasn’t off the cards when Nixon announced about Gabriel - who I’m glad is coming back, but would expect him to be second choice for this season
