Deluded Ridsdale and Nobbers

As mentioned previously Risdale has done this because he doesn't want to be embarrassed by pool fans making more noise than the library nobbers. Even with our meagre allowance we will still generate more atmosphere than those clowns. PNE were the quietest fans at Bloomfield together with Peterborough this season.

I agree that you should have been given more tickets but had things been the otherway round and the game had been at Deepdale first and we gave you half as many tickets to Blackburn a couple of weeks prior would you want your club to give us the full allocation? I doubt it, there would have been cries on here to reduce the number of tickets given to us also.

What the Nobber haven't realised and never will is the fact that there was interest from the Blackpool fans to see the game at Bloomfield Rd and the police saw the oppertunity to house PKE fans in an area they thought they could control them.

It is a sad state of affairs that Riddler Risdale has thrown his teddy out the cot to.
A. Carry on some sort of vendetta that occurred nearly 12 years ago.
B. Try to win brownie points off the PKE fans.

Unfortunately for Blackpool fans the PKE supporters are so indelibly stupid that they.
A. Think they've got one over on the "lashers"
B. Don't think that losing money will effect their club🤣

As has been said earlier the PKE fans do not want to be EMBARRASSED in their own ground. They won't sell out, even though a few scroats will be able to buy tickets in the Liverpool managers stand to flick a few V's and have done their best to dampen the atmosphere.
As we all know PKE fans are dull as dishwater and that there is more atmosphere on the moon!!

One last thing.....WHEN Blackpool fans get tickets for the home stands, PLEASE, Nobbers don't come on here crying like bitches complaining about the situation.
The Riddler has made his bed, you're happy to go along with it.
Deal with it.

It is 'our' not 'are'. I come on here for the banter with Kirt so I will not leave but thanks for the offer for as long as the admin are happy for me to post👍.
I'm happy for you stay, don't mind people as long as not abusive or ridiculously annoying...

I think people should try and out debate people rather than ban them, which is what often happens on here and people are rarely banned.

You must like it here though, quite a fun site isn't it. Yours quite strict and controlled in comparison.

I imagine it's a bit like living in Wales under Drakeford and then coming to a more relaxed England. 😬👍

Norfolk, I would stop this banter with these supporters. Just be contented that the majority of them won’t be going to Deepdale.
Good advice Triumph.
You can scuttle off back under your rock too.

We'll sell all our tickets in a heartbeat, there'll no doubt be loads of Seasiders in the home sections too, and rest assured we'll out-sing you for the whole 90 minutes and more.
Oh, and we'll be taking the 3 points home too.
I can't wait for Big Fat Boo's video!!! 🤣🤣

Can I ask Norfuk........Do you bore for a living or is it just a Part Time job?.....You're very good...😴

About 3 months ago.....you and those 2 faced cock Wombles were posting on your 'site' calling for Trevor Hemmings to get out of the club, sacking Ridsdale and saying they were going to boycott home games until Trev sold the club to some unknown billionaire who would pile even more money into that black hole...

A few knobbers who were obviously on Crack, said Hemmings was just like the Oystons.....🤔....One knobber even posting it on this site....
Not you Norfuk.....you just do spelling and boredom

Now you have just proved how stupid, bitter and deluded PNE fans really are....just pop over for a laugh reading DickheadsOnline
They actually expect Ridsdale to come out with a 'special offer' for cheap tickets...Maybe £5 an adult & 50p for kids under 18
Just so others who never go.....can be bothered to turn up to fill the ground
They even think they are going to sell out......Just because it's Blackpool....NOT PNE.....but us....

Embarrassing

One thing I never understood, why did Trevor Hemmings, who was reputedly the richest man in Britain, not plough money into PNE?
Were I in his position I would have put countless millions into BFC.
Why did he buy the Tower etc?

Ridsdale and the Nobber board just playing to the gallery. They're now worshipping the bloke they were telling to get out their club a matter of weeks ago, and they call us fickle

Can't wait to beat them again in their own gaff and 2k Blackpool fans will sound like 6k anyway. Hope I'm one of the lucky few to witness Preston getting battered in person again.

This ticket controversy has stoked the fires of the rivalry at least.

Interesting thing about prices is that our home game vs nobbers was sold out, so could have got more but... it was nearly 12k home fans at £28 an adult ticket and previous purchase only, despite the purchase history supposedly not being very long and only going back to when Sadler arrived.

There was some stories of some not able to get access to the tickets, which needs looking at. Also why we need some big cheap games in a cup run or something to try and attract casuals and build the fanbase.

We also missed out on the usual promotion sellout at home and Wembley occasion which attracts many who don't usually go and often then go in the following season.

But 12k @ £28 with purchase restrictions, I wonder how many we could sell at £10 or £5?

Tbf they didn't show up for their biggest game in years, captain lost his head and got sent off, away support was BigFatBooing. Let's give them this little ticket 'stance' - it's not like they've had anything else to cheer about.

BEST case scenario for them is they finish lower mid-table and take as many points from us as we have from them.

Another season of absolute mediocrity - still, they must be used to it by now 👍

Nobber in peace!

There's so much bitterness involved in the Preston behaviour. Why are they so bitter? Maybe cos they are just stagnant, and dull. As someone said on the Seasiders Podcast tonight, while we've gone through the boycott, court case, new ownership, Premier League to League Two and back up the Championship and beaten them again, bugger all has happened to them. I think they're jealous, it must be so dull.
Not all of us are, I'm certainly not. You've been on a hell of a journey and great to see you back in the championship.

It's painful being a nobber at the moment. The lack of desire & recent dross we've been served up is awful.

The loss of connection between fans & club is a critical issue that needs remedying. The atmosphere at Deepdale is awful & I'm not afraid to admit it.

I genuinely look towards the connection you fans have to your new regime with respect - fair play to you.

Jealousy is an awful state to be in. I'm not jealous about other clubs - you guys had a fair crack at the PL and got there, fair play. I'd rather concentrate where we are going than worry about other clubs.

I have a good feeling about Lowe & think if we support him we can become a much better side & start climbing the table.

I'm looking forward to the rematch in April & hopefully exert some sort of revenge!!

Fair play to you sir. Not many football fans can say stuff like that, on the forum of their arch rivals. We had a very long time under the Oystons that was bloody awful. But it was eventful, at least, at times anyway. Long periods of struggle really. And that Belokon inspired period was amazing and came totally out of left field. Preston has been in the Championship a while now. Spent some money on the squad. Has a decent stadium, I personally think it's a good stadium. With more energy and belief they could push on, look what Holloway did here. Could be interesting for you with Lowe, he might get something going. But maybe the fans hold the club back?!!

If we have a connection with our club and obviously we really do, it's because of the huge effort made by our fans. To get behind the team, but also to oppose the Oystons, and demand better. We insisted on a better club and made sure it happened when the chance arose. The Oyston court case could have turned out very differently. The fans demanded a better club. The judge saw that. It won't have affected the core ruling, but he made the effort to help steer the club into the right hands, and the fans continued that as things progressed, and Sadler stepped forward cos he saw how much it meant to the town as well as to himself. And the other bids had to be ignored.

The point is, you get what you expect, what you demand and what you work for. Sometimes anyway. If you show up and sit in silence and keep saying 'same old' over and over again, there's no energy for change. Can Preston fans rustle that up from nothing? I doubt it tbh. Maybe Ridsdale is trying to provoke the fans into being more energised and proactive. I guess the game in April will be a big day with cheap tickets and revenge in the script. (It's our cup final though apparently ;) ) (It will be a tough day for Critch and co I guess. But the aim at Blackpool is continual progression, building a better club). I just don't see the Preston fans sustaining that over a long period. Blackpool fans have done. The Premier League season was a key catalyst I reckon. But before that we had a core of fans to thanks who just kept going through years of Oyston misery. I maintained my interest and went to some matches each season, but I don't know how those people who went to all home games and many away games for many Oyston years did it. They either deserve a medal or require a psychological study. Or both. I guess they formed a very strong bond with the club and with each other. And some of them became very active and articulate in the battle to rid the club of the Oystons. Some really good people emerged and I still take my hat off to them.

edit: There's no doubt though that the adversity of the last ten years, on the immediate coat tails of the huge premier League boost, has brought our club to where it is today, and bonded it together. Blackpool is a poor town with a lot of problems, and the football club is something to look to and to bring people together. Sadler saw exactly that and deserves huge credit and a lot of gratitude for taking the risk and for handling it all so graciously. We got very lucky too. But you make your own luck. Maybe Preston fans need some adversity to act as a catalyst, or something. It's all a bit comfortably numb, perhaps?

Rumours are they're going to be charging £7 to home fans 🤣

Imagine having to drop your prices that much to get bums on seats 😂

20,000 x £7 = £140,000

13,000 x £20 = £260,000

Totally understand where your all coming from with how delusional and fickle pke fans are, they have been played for mugs by risdale well and truly like what does a politician do when they need to win some popularity back ? They make small gains to pull the wool over the peoples eyes which he’s done with the fans, by getting back at blackpool for not allowing them extra tickets back in October which made sense in terms of security by reducing your allocation by like 50%, so now yous will have to put up with a bunch of gobshites giving it the big un, they are very much a salty bunch huge chips on their shoulders only turn up at home for rovers blackpool and the two big reds up the road, normally when we go there they have a corner of gobshites in the invincibles stand, a week or so after we last went there I noticed on the highlights show that that corner and stand in particular that filled up for us was empty so that sums it up and no doubt the gobshites who normally head into that corner against us will be next to yous. End of the day it will be more fool them when they have so many empty seats, the stands behind the goals may fill up but the side stands will be nowhere near full.

Back to the subject of their fickleness and delusion, so they are seeing risdale as some big hero now he’s performed such a heroic gesture of reducing Blackpool’s allocation but the truce will soon pass when the bad football takes over and hopefully pool dick them after their manager bounce ends, they had similar attitude towards Hemmings they was slagging him off wanting him out the club before he passed then all of a sudden he needs a statue it’s fickle beyond belief, one minute their club is in turmoil and they wanna boycott the next they have a new manager win a couple games and don’t give their rivals so many tickets and it’s all roses again it’s unbelievable, worst fans in Lancashire even the dingles are more intelligent than them I’ve found, bunch of Liverpool and United supporting plastics yet they have the audacity To call us plastics 😂 even other fans around the area which is common for glory supporters in other towns to atleast have a soft spot for their local teams like most do in Blackburn hate Preston, I’ve worked with a couple lads from layman’s who hate Preston and tell me how delusional they are and how small time they are, one tries to say Preston was a big club cause of the invincibles 😂

I curious, how much s*** are PNE in?

They were losing £10m a season before Covid hit, Hemmings is no longer around to bail them out. presumably they're burnt through whatever cash they had by now.

Do they have any saleable assets in their squad.

According to their fans the losses are not an issue and nor is funding the cost of reducing our allocation, because Craig? Hemmings is the son of a billionaire....

I don't know what the script is with regard to the Hemmings fortune 'inheritance' he had 4 kids (3 Lads one girl)... Not sure how they all feel about PKE as a £10-15M a year money-pit.

I've always thought the relationship between Hemmings and the Knobbers was a weird one really..... He generally seemed to do what was necessary, but they've never really shown much dynamism or ambition really. Maybe that will change with the Son taking over as the main man?

Anyone with an ounce of intelligence would understand that a club should NEVER offer tickets to away supporters before their own. It really is that simple! Reading comments on this board the vast majority understand this concept so I suspect most would expect the allocation to go to the away club in this scenario.

Intelligence is the key word and there have been some whoppers from pke on this board lately... not to mention the many more on penisonline and social media; frothing at the mouth like a scene from the walking dead!

Turn it into a campaign. I doubt very much he is working an anybody's interest other than his own going off his past record.

Yet our game was 28 quid, now obviously not all pay top whack and some in block M,N and L pay more.

But we would make significantly more money for our home game than them.

Personally I don't like the 28 quid price and if we had spare capacity in the future we should use these biggest games to lure new fans in at a more attractive price, as the biggest games are the biggest lures.

Poor show from North End and Mr Ridsdale. An idiot for spouting off like that on Twitter . Their ground is more than big enough to house the home fans that want to go , with enough seats left for Blackpool to have all one end .

These historical Lancashire town derby games are what football in this area is all about . Much rather watch Rovers v Blackpool , Rovers v PNE and Rovers v Burnley than Rovers v any of the Sky teams aka Liverpool , Man Utd and City .

The game at Deepdale ( like at Bloomfield) should be a full house , atmosphere and passion by the bucket load . The only conclusion you can reach is , after their decision to limit your allocation , they fear a big Blackpool following

Like i said earlier in this thread, why penalise the rank and file Blackpool footie fans who have not had anything to do with the decision to only allow 2k Nobbers in at ours, it aint their fault so why do this idiotic (and expensive) and childish act.

Good to know we're not alone in this feeling on the nobbers 👍

It wasn't even our decision to limit away fans, it was ott police due to a few things thrown at games etc. Also last time we played they invaded the pitch, they tend to forget that, so that probably played a part as well in the police not wanting them near our north stand. Plus when we played them there was obviously extra demand to fill the east bit near where some of your fans got the extra ones.

Unfortunately we are left with a stadium thats built with a lack of ambition from the previous owners but we will have an East stand in the pipeline, but these things don't just throw themselves up overnight.

But because of that limited capacity when we sold out all 3 sides, we were clearly going to prioritise our own fans for the other side of the East. The away end holds about 2200 and clubs only get more if there's no home demand to fill the other side.

Segregation has been ridiculous also with some clubs using a line of stewards yet we had 2 full blocks and a media section between fans in our East stand, police again, against PNE. Yet some of them claimed it that was still dangerous. 🤷

Yet now it's suddenly OK to have us and them in their away end. I hope there's no trouble as it would make a petty decision to put fans in the same stand look reckless then.

Obviously the nobbers spat their dummies out and have no such issues at thier stadium, yet want to be petty anyway. Risdale has played to his audience.

Anyway, enjoyed our game against Blackburn, tough game, a game of 2 halves and Bloomfield was bouncing, especially near the end.

I think Mowbray upset some by praising the atmosphere.

Am looking forward to bringing a big following to Ewood. 👍

And that's the biggest irony of all..... Most likely Rovers will be the ultimate beneficiaries of this decision, because we'll likely take more there as a result of the knobbers decision.

Big away end as well, not sure how many tickets we get but I think it can hold more than the pne end. But as they are flying high we might get 4k 🤷

I don’t follow Rovers away these days , can’t stand ( or sit with ) the idiots that tend to go away ( Rovers aren’t unique btw ) . I mentioned in the Blackpool v Rovers thread , son went and like Mowbray , thought your fans were different class that day .

At the moment and I think some of its down to your ground size ( not many empty seats ) , your home support is first class . Rovers and PNE , with much bigger grounds , certainly in Rovers case , have a distinct disadvantage whilst crowds are stuck at around 12, 000 on average . I have a mate who goes to Burnley and he says their home atmosphere is pretty rank too .

Yes , definitely looking forward to Rovers v Blackpool. You’ll get the whole Darwen End so bring as many as you can ! Should be a good old fashioned derby game .

The ground may help in that aspect but on the other hand I can only imagine if we had a north stand that held double.

The main part of it is after the boycott the muckers, a Blackpool supporters group.... took the north stand and got all like minded singers in one area, a lot of youngsters.

Plus the boycott years themselves, getting the club back and having a new owner who's a fan and being on the up again.

Plus we just like to shout and sing a lot 😆

I think you’ll get the whole end which from memory holds 7,000 . North End filled it a couple of years ago ( pre - pandemic)
Good to know, not sure how many we'd bring though. I'd say 5k but who knows.

North End brought circa 4,500 this season . Rovers tend to charge big money for tickets in the big derby games . I think ( and stand to be corrected) the PNE tickets were £30 .
