Demi Mitchell has left the building.

I don’t think he ever really settled at BFC and never really got a run of games where he was first choice and looked the part. All the best, inwards and upwards, good business etc etc

'Demi has left the building'

That's kind of him, would have been hard to take it with him and it didn't even belong to him.

We need to see some threads with players coming in, not going out. I know we needed to get rid of some like Howe but so far this window we have had in Beesley and Dale (who was already with us) and out: Mitchell, Wintle, TJJ, Howe and Nuttall. We have bought back Robby and Thorniley, both could be going out again before the window closes. We are likely to add Gretarrson to that list too. We have 7 days to get 3 or 4 new players in or we are going to be desperately short on numbers.

I will be surprised if there is no one in before the close of play tomorrow.

A likeable character but not a player I ever rated. A speed boat without a driver and completely one footed.

Hope he proves me wrong.

We could still lose Gretarrson, Thorniley and Robson yet so plenty of room for new players, we will no doubt lose a few more in the summer so we are going to see plenty of new faces between now and the start of next season.

Howe and Nuttall weren't in the 25.

From the 25 we've lost Mitchell, Wintle and TJJ, with Gretarsson about to go too it seems. 4 out

Into the 25 come Beesley, Robson and Thorniley. It sounds like Robson and Thorniley will stay to me. Needs must I think, so many midfielders and left sided defenders gone missing. 3 in.

Probably 3 ish more to come in. Window presumably closes next Monday?

er, probably none. If Hibs came in with an offer and we accepted it and he thinks he'll get more game time there then why not?
There were several threads on it including another the game after comparing his mistake to one Yates did but got away with one game later. Plenty put the knife in not just on the mistake but his all round game and lack of future prospects. If he read any if those threads, he might have thought, well if that's how I am viewed, time to seek pastures new.

The thing is we don't want to pain buy either because this is a crappy window usually with most clubs not wanting to sell players and if they do they are inflated prices and the danger is we then go for players who weren't necessarily top of our lists. I think you may be right about Thorniley and Robson but if Critch wanted them out on loan they were hardly in his plans so will they actually get any game time? I don't have a problem with the players that have gone, 2 of them weren't our players anyway and Mitchell clearly wasn't going to feature. It's the injuries that have really depleted us and the fact they are all long term ones. Looking at the list we are short of a left back and 2 central midfielders, maybe another winger too so I expect him to get a couple of loans in and maybe buy a couple.

Seeing so many negative comments on social media following his exit most of which go along the lines of ‘not good enough for the championship.’ Maybe you’re right, maybe you’re wrong. Truth is he never got a run after an unlucky injury in pre season.

Anyway, regardless of whether he is good enough. Why do you feel the need to make those comments? Do you ever think about the player who might actually read them? And do you forget that he was part of the special team/squad who got us promoted? He was in the 11 who turned it around at Wembley after a disastrous opening minute. He provided the cross that led to King Kenny’s winner for crying out loud! Show some respect. Morons.

Good luck Demi, thanks for being part of a successful Blackpool team.
He also put the cross in for Jerry didn't he against Oxford at home? I thought he was rampant towards the end of last season.

Only one of the outgoings featured regularly. If the players Critch wants are not available in Jan happy with current squad plus youth till summer

not disputing there were several threads. But if is a mighty big word to suggest he came on AVFTT and read all the threads and that made his decision up to leave.

I wish him well, but he didn't do it for me this season especially, too easily dispossessed & couldn't hold the ball up. Did he actually ever score?

I'm just throwing a few things in for discussion really. Apart from Wintle, as you say, the others leaving were never going to feature although I hope Nuttall does well in his loan spell as there is a player there I'm sure.

I still think Robbo & Thorniley will go as they aren't in Critch's plans either as far as I can see and it looks like Gretarrson is going, which is a surprise he hasn't stepped up. But they are all players who would have gone in the summer anyway and there will be two or 3 more by then too.

A couple of shrewd loans would be the best option in my opinion and only buy if it is a player we really want and not at an over inflated price. We could do with some good news on the walking wounded too and Stewart going out to join the Jamaica squad is ridiculous.

Didn't say it made his decision, just had a bearing on.

Definition of have bearing on
: to affect or influence a decision —usually used in negative statements.

I think you’ve cracked it.

Demi Mitchell went on Avftt the day after the Boro game and read all the threads.

The next day, after crying himself to sleep thinking of the nasty words Adams Kebab, 20 Togo, Tangoman and Sooty had said on a message board he knocked on Neil Critchley’s office door and said “some nasty men have said that I don’t have a football brain and i’m not good enough for the Championship boss! I need to leave”…

What planet are you on 😂😂

I'm not going to predict what will happen cos even the people involved in negotiations can't do that. It's a good opportunity for Robbo and Thorny, I'm sure Critch will try to give them opportunities and it could help their careers. You can see that Critch exercises a duty if care towards his players, as well as the responsibility of getting results for the owner and the fans. It's good management.
