There’s no outlet whatsoever.Nothing sticking with Beesley.I expected Lavery to start.This is no good
 
Every corner or cross in we look horribly vulnerable. The ball in doesn't even need to be that good. For a team with three centre halves it's unforgivable.

Byers should have scored with his chance
Beesley doesn't shoot in front of goal
To say we have offered nothing isn't true, we have got forward pretty well at times
It's been a good game from my perspective, both teams attacking and chances for both sides. Both teams playing football as well.
 
I think we have done ok but we look lightweight and too nice, I think that every time I watch us, we as usual lack pace up front, Carey what was he doing jumping over the ball at the byline? Change it at halftime for once pls!

Hopefully we will have more belief and confidence in the second half. Our strikers have shown zero threat. Well the one that started.

No he shouldn't. He was beyond the post and on his wrong foot. Bloody hard to score from that.
 
We flatterred to deceive early doors. When Byers has had the ball in an advanced position it's gone back or sideways, destroying the impetus. Dembele may well get fouls but I'd rather he stayed on his feet. The Derby balls into the area have been far better than ours. We're still in it but I'm not seeing where the threat is gping to come from.
 
Toothless up front, we have far too many non scoring strikers.
As usual results going our way at half time and of course, we're behind.
Bolton, Stevenage, Oxford, Lincoln and Orient all 0-0. Peterborough and Barnsley both losing at home, plenty of time for all those to change, not sure I can see us scoring though.
 
I see we have not improved over the international break and we are as inept and toothless as ever. That is exactly why there is no prospect of reaching the playoffs this season.
 
Going to wait till the end to comment, we should have scored at least 2 and it has been fairly even, better than I thought we'd be, but letting the goal in means we need to change it and add an extra attacker. Let's see what he does and how it goes.
 
This could be another typical 1-0 defeat like most of the others. I’m still holding out hope for a Peterborough turnaround. We need it
 
It's at a half time like this when you want a St. Crispin's Day speech from the Manager. No doubt it'll actually be 'shape, shape, shape.'

You know he won’t change it until the 70th minute and then it’ll probably be like for like. Why doesn’t he understand, we’re losing and there’s nothing to lose in going for it.
 
Critchley will be happy with that in terms of we passed the ball around (the back), created two or three half chances that will allow him to say ' we had good control of the game, didn't take our chances and we conceded after failing to clear but it was a great finish'

I honestly think how we play in his idea of football utopia is more important than the results and to lose 1.0 is almost acceptable because he can see how the team is growing.

Someone please remind him that winning is what this game is about, entertainment a very close second.

Anyway 2nd half to come, cmon the pool. A draw would be a great outcome as it stands.
