Exactly right. And a few of their side have Liverpool first team experience. Morton, Williams at least. A cohesive side that trains and plays together.Got to remember that while it’s Liverpool u23’s these lads play together every week, rather than the thrown together Blackpool team a lot of whom don’t even train together.
I’ve blocked the fool!Idiot.
Time for me to do also.I’ve blocked the fool!
Me too, absolute whopper!Time for me to do also.
agree, I would love to see Jarell Quansah come in on loan as he's a big lad who can be a threat from corners and free kicks, I watch a series on Youtube called park to prem by a creator called work the space, and Quansah is a beast in that seriesCritchley really needs to get a couple of these Liverpool lads onboard for next season. !
Definitely, Aspie. I mentioned this earlier in the thread mate.agree, I would love to see Jarell Quansah come in on loan as he's a big lad who can be a threat from corners and free kicks, I watch a series on Youtube called park to prem by a creator called work the space, and Quansah is a beast in that series
Did Critch perhaps try to get a result, at the expense of lads who might have played against say Accrington?Just a couple of thoughts.
First up I watched Pool in this competition a few years back against Blackburns u/23s (they are a Category 1 academy and generally pretty good).
Pool put out a similar mixture of players. We got beat something like 6-0.
Like Sweeper, and others on the thread have said, it's very difficult coming up against a team that plays together regularly when you are 11 players that have probably only trained together once, yesterday.
I've said it many times before put Casey or Dale or James or A N Other in a team with 10 first team regulars and they will look a lot better than they did today.
Put them all together and it will inevitibly be a struggle and today it was.
Today the back four were particularly inexperienced and Stuart Moore looked like a keeper that's sat on the bench all season. Will Squires, who has been excellent for the Youth team at centre back was asked to play at right back.
It was all a bit of a mess with virtually no one doing themselves a favour.
The trialist Mo Sangare is certainly a big unit. When the ball came to him he did OK but despite his physicality against some Liverpool players that looked half his size he didn't impose himself on the game.
Just a couple of mentions.
Luke Mariette had about 20 minutes. I really like Luke. He always looks composed on the ball and I'm very hopeful that he could be one that makes it.
Rob Apter came on with Luke but didn't see much of the ball
Jake Daniels was probably the youngest player on the pitch but showed good maturity.
I think Critch used this to give game time to those that needed it.Did Critch perhaps try to get a result, at the expense of lads who might have played against say Accrington?
did you go or watch on TV?I think Critch used this to give game time to those that needed it.
Jerry's not had much game time recently and needs a goal.
He got both today so in Critch I trust.
I was there.did you go or watch on TV?
Out of all the youngsters, who could you see breaking in to the first team squad next season?

I know many think it’s pointless but it would be nice to see a team in the central league or an under 23’s next season to ensure regular game time for non playing squad members 1st year pros and 2nd year scholars.I was there.
I'm not sure Critch, despite his background, is keen on bringing "teenagers" into the matchday squad.
Of course I generally only see our u/18s playing at Category 3 level whereas Critch has the benefit of many seasons watching U/18s in the very best academies. So I don't really know how far away they are from first team football.
I have though seen our u/18s this season against Newcastle, Chelsea and Burnley (all Category 1) and they've looked competitive.
I've never been particulary comfortable singling out young players good or bad on the messageboard.
I did however mention Luke Mariette today and Jake Daniels looks very mature for a 17yr old.
On top of that we have several first/second year pro's out on loan at different levels who I've not seen this season so don't know how they are progressing.
Looking at reports online though you've got to think that Rob Apter is a promising prospect.
The next level of progress with the chance of moving up a Category won't come until the new training ground is up and running.
Maybe it's time to organise another of your protests against Critch. Just for clarity, how many turned up last time?Embarrassing this against a bunch of kids, another nail in the critchley coffin

Seems to make sense. We have first team squad players not getting much if any game time like Moore, Casey, Dale, James, Kirk, Robson, Virtue, Beesley. Players returning from injury need minutes. And we have a variety of lads like Trusty, Apter, Holmes and Bange, aged around 19, out on loan.I know many think it’s pointless but it would be nice to see a team in the central league or an under 23’s next season to ensure regular game time for non playing squad members 1st year pros and 2nd year scholars.
In response to you and @Sweeper on the Central League point Critch answered that question directly at a Q&A I was at with him. He's was against it and preferred the "bounce" game option where he has more control. Maybe somewhat strangely he biggest concern seemed to be over the standard of pitches we might have to play on.Seems to make sense. Maybe we will build up our numbers to the point where we establish an U23 team, or a Central League side. The football is less competitive for the young lads but we have more control over their game time and general development and everyone gets regular matches. Casey and Beesley are getting hardly anything at present. Must stunt their progress.
That is very disappointing bounce games have been few and far between funny they don’t seem to be concerned about the state of pitches when loaning the young lads outIn response to you and @Sweeper on the Central League point Critch answered that question directly at a Q&A I was at with him. Of course we don't have a pitch fit for purpose either.
Can't see things changing until we get the new training ground which seems to be dragging on endlessly.
