Is the East stand coming down soon. If so where are the away fans(if any) going to go.
No. Lol.Is the East stand coming down soon. If so where are the away fans(if any) going to go.
Derby, Barnsley, potentially Stockport, Pompey dependent on how they're doing and when in the season it is, there'll be quite a few who will bring plenty. In all seriousness it would make great sence for the work on the East to start now.
With only the likes of Massive, Noblot, Wigan and possibly Port Vale, away attendances will be well down on this season.
Get it done and IF we're lucky enough to return to the Championship straight away the financial implications wouldn't be so bad having a new stand for the 24/25 season
There's the question of compulsory purchase of the remaining properties on Henry Street and detailed planning permission to get through before any work can start on the stand. No chance of that happening in time for the end of next season. Presumably it will also need to be coordinated with the other work on the Revoe revolution. In all seriousness it would make great sence for the work on the East to start now.

In theory, yes. But that would be in a timescale ahead of what was planned so perhaps the money isn't in place at this time?In all seriousness it would make great sence for the work on the East to start now.

Is it? I wasn't aware it had gone through approval at the Council and some information posted on here suggested that the residents hadn't heard anything. The compulsory purchase of houses is completed now!
There is no planning permission for the New East.In theory, yes. But that would be in a timescale ahead of what was planned so perhaps the money isn't in place at this time?
I'd assume that could be fast-tracked given the Reveo development? There is no planning permission for the New East.
'Planning permission' and 'fast-tracked'. I do not compute.I'd assume that could be fast-tracked given the Reveo development?

Since when? The compulsory purchase of houses is completed now!
Ahhh, the old South stand wasteland returning...They are pulling down the East stand and the South stand. Giving it a bit more of a League 1 feel.
They can't hang about with it, because they secured funds from central government for the Revoe regeneration I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong). In which case there will be a defined time limit on using those funds.

I'd put the away fans in block A of the north and have block B as segregation. At least it would stop juvenile idiots chucking stuff at the opposition.
In the old days the away fans were always in the east side of the kop, with a line of dibbles twixt them and us. Half an eye on the match and the other looking out for flying pennies. You young UN's don't know you're bornBloomfield rd seating plan
Disagree...
Better to put them in the SE corner blocks Y&Z plus possibly block X, giving them upto 1600 or so...
Cordon off half of block W for segregation.
When the football was crap we could watch the crisp packets being blown around.Ahhh, the old South stand wasteland returning...
A beautiful sight. When the football was crap we could watch the crisp packets being blown around.
Remember when we used to get crisp packets swirling round at speed by the corner flag? Had twister hunters from Kansas purring. When the football was crap we could watch the crisp packets being blown around.
You seem confident we'll only be in L1 for one season.East Stand is happening regardless. Shame it can't be this season - League 1 is ideal for us having a capacity reduction if our aim is to get back to the Championship...
We willYou seem confident we'll only be in L1 for one season.
I'd say 50/50 at best tbh. We have one director, the rest have all left, there's no head coach, a recent record of poor appointments, and half a squad. Hell of a lot of work to do and a lot of improvement in decision making required. We will
