No names on the shirts again for second half. Is it for alzheimers or because the players are embarrassed and don't want the viewers to know who they are.

Both Quansah and Branthwaite are miles better than both Dunk and Slabhead, if in doubt ask any of the big three who they'd sign in the summer.

We won’t win with Mcguire at centre back anyway so worth trying.
 
Technically very good but no individual magic.

I’d say Foden and Bowen have been the only ones that have taken anybody on.
 
Maybe the problem is we've got too many players to choose from. It's tempting to keep changing the team that leads to a lack of understanding between the players

yep, you think he tells Southgate where he wants to play. Think he plays the no 10 role for RM so expect that's his preferred choice. He's a great box to box player , the no 8 role, though and as pools says that gives Maddison and Foden a chance to play there and they both have that quality to open up defences. Expect come the tournament Foden will be wide left, Maddison on bench..

Can someone on this MB please give me a rational explanation why Jarrod Branthwaite got zero minutes in the last two games?

Snoregate knows what McGuire, Dunk, Gomez and Stones can do, surely to fuck he should be looking at the kid who is one of the best young centre backs in the PL, it's not like we loaded with talent in the weakest area (along with GK) in English football, yet this numbskull doesn't give the lad any minutes.

A decent game. That late goal will give the team a lift.
Mainoo and Bowen must get in the squad now surely, and probably Gordon as well. Foden getting more involved now too. Enjoyed it, but a terrible start defensively.

Just back, entertaining game though thought we were poor at the back. Bowen, Foden stood out for me. Bellingham is going to be special. Rice plays lots of sideways passes and I don't remember Chilwell passing forward once.
Belguim were decent. Not a bad game in constant rain.
Wembley is such a ballache to get away from.
 
Bellingham is some player, along with Foden as well as Jeremy Bowen, who flew in specially form reporting on the Israel Gaza war.

Loved Mainoo's switch back to dribbling forward play, when 90% would have taken the safe option and passed to a defender.
It led directly to a, penalty and I would include him in the squad for that move alone. Players who tear up the coaching manual, do the unexpected will unnerve opposition, and we do not produce many with those attributes
