England gave it a good go in the second half but Spain the better side, just a shame the Spanish tarnished the win by all the play acting and histrionics.
 
How many times did bronze make the wrong decisions happens every game at least a dozen big mistakes happens every game .Main reason we lost ..Believes her own hype ill disciplined and bizarrely overated never seen her not have a poor game
 
Not a classic, but it had it’s moments. Spain the better team, England probably needed one of those early chances to go in to make a better game of it, and maybe James should have been on from the start.
Great advert for Women’s football this tournament.
 
I haven't watched any of the tournament before today - but Spain were 1000x better than England in every department. Faster, stronger, technically better, more streetwise - 3-0 would have been a fairer reflection of their absolute superiority.
 
Just be glad we’ll be spared all the dame hoods and that nonsense. We’d have never heard the last of it if they’d won so every cloud 👍

We were also far too slow in the build up. Much as I wanted us to win, we were beaten by a better side. They were quicker than us in thought and deed.
 
I've never understood the praise that Lucy Bronze gets, she's always quite poor when I've seen her for England, and today she was absolutely terrible. She plays for a top club so it must just be when I've watched, which is only some England games, but I've yet to see a game where I've been impressed by her.

Today we were second best and deserved to lose by more than one goal really. Well done Spain. Too many of our players just didn't perform.
 
We did get 13 minutes extra, so I'm not sure the ref bought into the time wasting!

I'd want England to win a bin emptying competition is there was one, so I'm disappointed.

That said, we weren't good enough.

Yes, most of us are very disappointed.

BUT

On the day the better team won. On a different day it might have been England, but that's how football goes.

England reached the final

Germany didn't
USA didn't
Brazil didn't
Sweden didn't
Italy didn't
Japan didn't

Oh and we beat the Aussies.

Well done the Lionesses.
 
A great match but Spanish just a bit better.
The usual rolling around on the floor but when you saw the replay there was usually a painful boot on boot etc.
Hard luck England.
