Yep it will be greatPARTY
I hope so but I doubt itwow, that's one helluva following. Hope that all fans have a great time and it all passes off peacefully.
Think Seville is the hottest place I've ever experienced in Europe. Remember it felt like burning balls of cotton wool hitting my cheeks when walking down the street. Kept diving in shop doorways to cool down in the aircon. It's forecasted 36c wall to wall sunshine in Seville for tomorrow, I hope the local bars have ordered plenty of cerveza, that lot will drink the place dry.
About to say the same thing myself. Not if Manchester is anything to go by. That was a disgrace, i hope they behave better this time.
When it's hot there it's hot, no breeze. We had to dive into an electrical store behind the Cathedral to seek air con. We spend about 15 mins under the ac unit whilst admiring an Indesit Logic TURBO that had 1600 spin, a 12kg drum and auto-sensing dryer combined. Lovely. Sales guy came over twice, first time fobbed him off, second he was there to get rid of us- I had to tell him it wouldn't fit in the hand luggage anyway.Think Seville is the hottest place I've ever experienced in Europe. Not sure the Scottish players will be used to playing in that heat. As for the fans, if they subject their blanched white skin to that sun all day, they'll need to invent a new description over and above the word lobster!
Nice piece of kit is the Logic Turbo. When it's hot there it's hot, no breeze. We had to dive into an electrical store behind the Cathedral to seek air con. I can vouch for that alsoAnd there’s plenty of them here in Albufeira too at the moment!!
Each club only got 9500 each.To hit seville mixed with 60,000 Germans
Fans allocated 20,000 tickets to each club
Bosch man myselfNice piece of kit is the Logic Turbo.
I think if they try the same nonsense in Seville, they'll find the Guardi Civil a damned sight more robust than the GMP plod at dealing with hooliganism and disorder. When they all turned up in Manchester (ticketless) all those years ago they were an absolute disgrace.
100,000 seems a hell of a lot though!
Brilliant idea that. Get the concessions stands open and they will make a killing.Appearently the Sevilla authorities have set up a big screen in the third Sevilla stadium (La Cartuja) which holds 57,000. Rangers fans without tickets will be directed there. Sounds like a plan, we will see if it works.
They usually are, but they were reasonable enough in Madrid a few years ago. The ones deployed to the grounds are full on stormtroopers, the ones policing the fan parks were a bit more normal.I think if they try the same nonsense in Seville, they'll find the Guardi Civil a damned sight more robust than the GMP plod at dealing with hooliganism and disorder.
With those quoted daily temperatures, I think the Rangers fans might appreciate the Guardia Civil’s water cannons !I think if they try the same nonsense in Seville, they'll find the Guardi Civil a damned sight more robust than the GMP plod at dealing with hooliganism and disorder.
Bosch…wife swears by our washing machine and tumbler drier…a vote of confidence by the way.Due in Seville in 3 weeks, hope there is some beer left.
Oh and another vote for Bosch.
I was working in Manchester that day.About to say the same thing myself.
And Frankfurt fans don’t mind a spot of trouble either!Whoever gets beat will kick off I reckon
I was there that night, one of the coldest nights watching football I've ever experienced,Pissed up Celtic fans everywhere. It was season 1984/85It reminds me of the time I went to watch Celtic at Old Trafford. 1985-86 ISH, it was my first experience of a big European game, second leg of the old knockout comps. Celtic had already gone through but someone had thrown a bottle at Parkhead, opposition whoever they were claimed their player had been hit and it affected the result. UEFA agreed and the second leg had to be replayed, as a punishment they were made to do it at least 100 miles out of Glasgow.
Punishment? Hmm. So nearly 60k of them went to Manchester. I went with a bloke from work who'd been all over the place with them in the day, had his photo with the European Cup coming back from Lisbon etc.
Must have been 10k of them in Piccadilly Square, having a sing. I saw groups of 10-15 that pissed that all they could do was stagger along holding onto each other, following the one declared leader. Made quite an impression on an 18-19 year old!
Like John said as another human chain lurched past, the strange bit is they'll all make it to the ground somehow. A kind of homing instinct kicks in.
I imagine the Rangers game will be a modernised version of the same tale.
My wife swears AT ours...Bosch…wife swears by our washing machine and tumbler drier…a vote of confidence by the way.
As for Seville we were there( day excursion from our cruise docked in Cadiz) literally a few days before you know what closed down the world…so mid February 2020….what an amazing place and we only had a few hours there…but as we were told come summer it is well EFFING HOT and I would imagine it is likely to be tomorrow night.
Looking forward to watching this a lot more than the Scousers V the Francos.
Just 3….……always hope it’s a good drying day outside otherwise the Tumbler costs a fortuneMy wife swears AT ours...
Darks, lights and tangerine. The three washes per week.
I blame the Liverpool fansWhen they all turned up in Manchester (ticketless) all those years ago they were an absolute disgrace.
100,000 seems a hell of a lot though!
Correct pal with the amount of cameras in the city center they can only ever show one incident where rangers fans were fighting with the police.I was in Manchester that day and it was fine
I went that night and was working in Manchester. Our female staff were sent home by lunchtime. There were pissed Celtic fans scrapping with each other in the seats above one of the ends.I was there that night, one of the coldest nights watching football I've ever experienced,Pissed up Celtic fans everywhere. Let me get this right, you are saying that Rangers fans didn’t trash Manchester City Centre? That effectively, this was fake news? See above for my comment on Celtic fans, I have no agenda here.Correct pal with the amount of cameras in the city center they can only ever show one incident where rangers fans were fighting with the police.
When you have that many people in one area there is bound to be a bit of messLet me get this right, you are saying that Rangers fans didn’t trash Manchester City Centre? That effectively, this was fake news? See above for my comment on Celtic fans, I have no agenda here.
