Evatt

We can't be wishing to change a promotion winning season, Critchley has left us with very good foundations far better than when he arrived,
but your sentiments 'the football he plays, with the boost to sales anyway and with the football, would have been a real bonus'. Could be a real bonus now.
Am not wishing to change anything, its worked out very well, just was odd he was dismissed for no experience then we went for no experience.

But a high profile appointment or ex player + attractive football would indeed boost crowds and that could really help us. Its already a rouch place to come with the crowd, imagine it louder.

I don’t know why, but I get a feeling (listening to Evo) that he might want to shake things up a bit more than we might like, based on the Club strategy.

He comes across as very single minded and having a great grasp of the job from top to bottom. Might be quite a challenge to keep up with him I suspect.

Why do people have this romantic attachment - use your heads not your hearts. For me Evo isn't a great choice, I'd rather see someone like Rosenior who has a great pedigree and has been the brains behind some good footballing teams.

Evo would be a popular choice for obvious reasons. Personally though I don't go with all the romantic stuff as in football it invariably kicks you in the teeth. If he got the job I hope that it's his managerial record and fit with the Club's ambitions that gets him the job - not his club history or an appointment to please the fans. I would prefer Mark Warburton to be the new boss, but I'm not sure if there's a will on either side to make that happen.

Warburton's chances seem pretty thin, no matter how you slice it.

Am I missing something here? Do you not think Evatt has proven more than Liam Rosenior in managerial terms?

Rosenior has been assistant manager at Brighton u23s and Derby. Evatt has a promotion from the National League and League 2, while being the brains behind both teams style of play, who both played good football.

Not saying Rosenior would be a bad choice but he would be higher risk than Evatt, despite the 'romantic' attachment.
