One of three to tick off my list this season and so heading down South for a week ending with this game on the Saturday - hoping they have some sort of hospitality as the wife won't stand with the unwashed!

Biggest terrace in the EFL for home fans.

Think they've rebuilt the away end, but it's standing.
 
Remember going there back in 93, with the Leyland Chorley lot.

As usual back then I'd had several too many, and was quite pleased getting back on the coach after what I thought was a nil nil

Turns out I'd missed us scoring when I went to the loo. In hindsight I thought the fans were celebrating the draw a bit too much. 🙄
 
Wet Wednesday night, what a treck!!
Couldn't have been more than 30 Blackpool there.
Ended up drawing 1-1 Kevin Stonehouse scoring, got home early Thursday morning 🤦
 
Been many times, yes they have improved the standing away end, behind the goal, but don’t hold your breath I doubt you will notice 😂(sorry), small amount of seating normally available In the corner next to away end. Not yet checked but hope as previously it’s POTG as plan to be there myself. Any questions I do have local contacts at the club so let me know and I will see what I can find out👍

I should imagine he'd be feeling more than a little flattered to be even receiving so much as a mention in response to that particular query. I realise that horse has now bolted, but I can imagine, as little as six months, this would have been just the filip he was looking for as encouragement to continue with his rehabilitation. Unless, of course, the 'passenger' reference is meant in the pejorative sense...
 
I remember flying from Blackpool to Exeter for a 2-0 defeat in 2001. Brett Ormerod was on the bench. Was home for 7pm. It was a cheap flight. About 40 of us went down.

Away end was called the cow shed. Dire performance that day
 
Just looked up the train fare from Newcastle - my god not cheap - £230 return - same as the flights. However, the train takes forever. Not doing that

BASIL have looked at this but the Thames conks out near Oxford so that's no good ( for this game). We've looked at the canal down to Arundel and then maybe the Kennet and Avon canal but they don't accept Submarines.
So we're on the train for this one.
 
Honest, not making an excuse I would have driven for a weekend stay over with my good lady, but…..it’s Annual Charity Golf Day (for: Trinity Hospice/Brian House) at Poulton Golf Club…All Welcome for an amazing family day out (unless your making a fantastic effort to go & watch TMP!!)
