Please take this as an observation. The Corner Flag bar and food outlet needs serious attention,, There are only two bar staff serving drinks, there were queues for the bar from 12:45pm all the way to 2:45pm, average time queuing was over 20 minutes, The till needs pre programming with "Drinks" buttons rather than tapping each drink price in, they ran out of glasses as people were ordering two drinks instead of one because of the waiting time, The staff with due respect didn't look up to the job, seemed like they were part timers, possible training issue. A separate food queue with its own till away from the bar needs creating to free up the bar staff. Believe it or not they were serving cream teas and afternoon teas on Saturday. At least 15 empty tables with reserved markers on them at 1:30pm, only by 2pm had most of them had been taken up not necessarily but those who had booked them, the rest were still empty but all the chairs had been used by other punters moving them to sit with their mates. It's all well and good reserving tables but it would be wise to say to those reserving them must be seated by 1:15pm if by then they do not arrive those tables have their reserved markers removed and become available for all customers. Finally the club should think of introducing a bottle bar, say for interest £3:50 a bottle or 3 bottles for £10, this would also reduce the main bar queue. Match days should a source of income for the club but at the moment its not happening as people wont put up with the queuing and its poor customer service. Perhaps it would be an idea to get one of the directors to visit on tuesday evening to see how badly its run and what needs improving to make a more fluid operation which would bring more money in for the club. I welcome other views should you agree or disagree with my observations.
