I never said anything about anyone being able to get away with it as you’ll see if you read the actual post…….

But by all means if you’re so convinced show evidence of Another team who’s been asked to play behind closed doors??

Birmingham Villa a few years ago we’re throwing flares at each other for 20 minutes, they both got a fine……..

It’s abhorrent, and people should be banned for it, however this sensationalism about games behind closed doors and points deductions is ridiculous.
 
We're living in a different world than a few years ago though. Matches are played behind closed doors because of fan behaviour, racist chanting etc frequently now. It's one of UEFA's go-to punishments. Times have changed. This sort of behaviour isn't acceptable any more. It's not "a laugh" or "high spirits" or "kids being kids". Just like racism was accepted in the 70s. Or drinking and driving. Or lots of other things.
 
Bring back the birch...if that's too severe then half

They were throwing them at Barnsley fans walking out ffs. 1 fan picked a bottle up and started drinking from it
