Fair enough reasonNothing I suppose, until one goes off course and hits some young kid who is maimed for life.

I wouldn't ban them for life, the punishment should fit the crime.Cant believe people are asking to grass on other fans, the cameras will catch the culprits. Ban them for life.
Amen.I wouldn't ban them for life, the punishment should fit the crime.
A plastic bottle thrown is stupid and needs to stop but not sure it's life ban material, missing a few key games might be enough to jolt some sense into some.
Yeah we need all the fans.Amen.
It's daft but it needs 1) the fans as a whole around them to have a word. 2) People ** love to moan at 'the others' who aren't as wonderful as them. Everyone's done summat stupid some time or other. It might not be chucking a bottle but it'll be something.
Deal, yes, but ban people for life? That's excessive.
and before then it was a soulless atmosphere - the muckers have created this amazing atmosphere but agree letās say iām sure the more āseniorā muckers could soon sort it outNever had these problems until the muckers took over the North. Maybe some of the more established members of the Muckers should police it.
I hope the plastic bottles get swapped for hand grenades when Preston come to town.
Fair comment, and I understand where youāre coming from. I was with my 10yr old son and many other kids under 12, plus pretty far away, so I decided Iād go over at Blackburn and remind them why itās not a good idea.So you saw him throw a bottle but will wait until next week to see if he turns up again in the same seat and then āhave wordsā
Why didnāt you have āwordsā today or at least report him to the stewards and point out the seat number so that the club could take action.?
It wasn't empty. If it was plastic bottles thrown at an empty East Stand (north side) then it canāt hurt anyone and is just a bit daft but I canāt be one to preach to the young uns. They will have to do what they want and have to man up if they face consequences.....as it has always been
Just so you understand, these things are banned in our stadiums, read every stadiums rules on the matter, and for good reasons and if clubs fail to react to them being used there could be serious consequences as could also be the same to someone being inadvertently or even deliberately being hit by one.Bit harsh if I agreed with that it would of been in my commentā¦. However it isnāt so I donāt!!
??...do you mean the bottles were full of liquid when thrown?...and I assume thrown about twenty yards of the 80 yards needed to reach the away fans ..so where did they land?It wasn't empty.
So do I. Those idiots are so stupid, theyāll throw the pin, and hold on to the grenade.I hope the plastic bottles get swapped for hand grenades when Preston come to town.
It was aimed at Barnsley fans walking to the toilets, I presume.??...do you mean the bottles were full of liquid when thrown?...and I assume thrown about twenty yards of the 80 yards needed to reach the away fans ..so where did they land?
tbh sounds like a load of kiddie wannabes who need a wake up as regards not being lame fakers but donāt need banning for life or castrating as some would have as a fitting punishment
I wouldn't throw one at deepdale, you'll hear the pin drop.So do I. Those idiots are so stupid, theyāll throw the pin, and hold on to the grenade.
Problem solved!
Yes, that would be truly moronic...letās injure a pensioner or a Kid ....brilliantIt was aimed at Barnsley fans walking to the toilets, I presume.
Wrong forum. Take the message to Twitter. You are going to get sections of the North closed if you dont stop it,we are already being watched closely by the authorities. Ben Mansford was talking about the problem on TTV the other day,and it was worse than ever. Think it's time we had some self policing in blocks A & B.
No one cares what you have to thinkSo do I. Those idiots are so stupid, theyāll throw the pin, and hold on to the grenade.
Problem solved!
So you was pretty far away but you can remember where his seat was. So how will you know if itās the same person next week when you go and have a word with THEM? It was one guy in your first post.Fair comment, and I understand where youāre coming from. I was with my 10yr old son and many other kids under 12, plus pretty far away, so I decided Iād go over at Blackburn and remind them why itās not a good idea.
I expected someone to jump on what I said so fair play. Iām keen to know more about you though and if you adopt a zero tolerance approach Iām happy to meet me in the north if you want and Iāll point them out to you.,
Away fans were maybe 30 yards away from the front of the North, not 80 yards.??...do you mean the bottles were full of liquid when thrown?...and I assume thrown about twenty yards of the 80 yards needed to reach the away fans ..so where did they land?
tbh sounds like a load of kiddie wannabes who need a wake up as regards not being lame fakers but donāt need banning for life or castrating as some would have as a fitting punishment
Are you old bill, perfect 70s supporterShut the offending blocks down for 2 games. I'm sure that natural justice will take it's course.
Makes sense to me !Are you old bill, perfect 70s supporter
You care enough to reply! No one cares what you have to think
I'd ban them for life, from every football ground in the world. Even Deepdale. I'd shame them in the national newspapers, get Geoff Stelling reading out their names live on Sky News Football, revoke their TV licences, Sky cancel their subscriptions. I'd have Naga Munchetti do another self gratifying solo monologue about how much she hates them at 8.30am on BBC breakfast, I'd get Lorraine to have their mums on crying at how utterly ashamed they are and how they taught their boys to know better than to throw a half drunk flat bottle of pepsi max onto an empty field. I'd tweet Piers Morgan AND Gary Lineker their names and addresses. I'd give their names to be banned at McDonald's, Burger King and as a special sort of punishment the "posh one" Nandos too. I'd tell the Armenian to ban them, the Armfield, the Pleasure beach, all 3 piers, the Tower, Harry Ramsdens and Harts Amusements in Bispham.
That will teach the cheeky little scamps.
Self police! Good luck with that one. Get mad screw back, he will sort it! My ear still hurtsI saw one guy throw a bottle and will be having words at Blackburn if heās in the same seat. We need to self police it as well and give them a warning/slap to educate them itās not a good idea.
Thereās nothing good about it, and I hope they get banned!
Sorry Blood. Empty or not itās out of order. If the powers that be catch them. Make them clean it up. Not just what they threw but all the rubbish in that stand. And it all in the correct recycle bins. As a punishment! If it was plastic bottles thrown at an empty East Stand (north side) then it canāt hurt anyone and is just a bit daft but I canāt be one to preach to the young uns. They will have to do what they want and have to man up if they face consequences.....as it has always been
We don't need the arseholes.. Our support is getting positive plaudits all over the place but these knobs a going to ruin it for everyone. Any way of getting rid of them is a good way.Cant believe people are asking to grass on other fans, the cameras will catch the culprits. Ban them for life.
It would send out a message to the rest of them. A 5 year banning order would work.I wouldn't ban them for life, the punishment should fit the crime.

No point announcing that on the PA as you canāt hear it in the NorthItās embarrassing. I know most who post on here truely love the club, and for me, weāre the current custodians of morty, matthews and Jimmyās legacy. The noise we create at the moment at Blackpool is brilliant and something to be really proud of, thatās why the team rightly go applaud the majority in the ground and especially the North stand who really do make a great atmosphere.
Having the stadium announcer asking losers, and IMO they are definitely lifeās losers trying to fill some gap in their lives with āooh look at meā BS, not to throw things at the away fans is embarrassing. I did some silly things when I was younger but it never occurred to me to throw things at people I donāt know just because they support a different football team. Anyone who thinks that is ok, I have no time for.

Really?? Banned for life for throwing a plastic bottle? Seems a bit excessive. Itās stupidity of the highest order doing it but letās not go over the top.Their not proper football fans.
Risking the club a heavy fine or even worse a points deduction they just fail to understand how serious this could get.
Itās time these planks were turned in to the relevant authorities and banned for life before the club gets hauled over the cobbles.
Yes banned for life as I said their not proper football fans.Really?? Banned for life for throwing a plastic bottle? Seems a bit excessive. Itās stupidity of the highest order doing it but letās not go over the top.
This is the point though. Youāre comparing smoke bombs and plastic bottles as same offence. What about tangerines? Tennis balls? Are they all life bans?Yes banned for life as I said their not proper football fans.
Itās not just the plastic bottle throwers itās the smoke bomb throwers as well (probably the same people)
Itās a serious offence and these dickheads need routing out.
One day there going to cost the club for their pathetic actions.
You somehow have to try and stop it and the threat of a lifetime ban for throwing anything may/may not deter people. This is the point though. Youāre comparing smoke bombs and plastic bottles as same offence. What about tangerines? Tennis balls? Are they all life bans?
I completely get itās dickhead behaviour but a life ban is completely over the top for throwing a plastic bottle.
