First five home games on sale Monday

How would this square with someone wanting a season ticket next week at full price. Going to cut down on remaining seat options isn't it. Wouldn't it be better waiting a few weeks to maximise season ticket sales? Plenty of time for new signings to boost sales.

See what you are saying. But I think most people have already decided/know what their commitment is. Everything considered. Own finance, When they can attend etc.
I guess so. And I suppose anyone buying a season ticket in a less than ideal spot would always be able to move if a better seat came up.

I think people who are likely to go to enough games will know if they can get a ST. Putting tickets on sale early is a good thing generally.

Living in Cheshire, with family commitments, ST's are not a viable option.
We've bought two memberships to take our Seasider 5yr old grandson. Tomorrow we're buying tickets for Reading and Middlesborough - but now his mum (a Seasider) & dad (& he's a closet toffee) want to come to the Borough game, so that's another £50 + club shop, + lunch, + brews etc etc 😥

Sharing the costs. I hope!

Its Middlesbrough mate big difference

This is to attract fans to buy the membership to get the benefits early as l see it which is a good tactic by the club, thats as l see it anyway!

Doubt it or the scheme would be pointless.
But that surely then that makes it less likely that said ST holder would bring along friend/wife/partner/colleague for the odd game or two.
The only real reason the membership is brought in is to be able to charge away fans more, as they legally can’t charge them anymore than home fans.

That's exactly what it's aimed at 5 home games last season cost me £124 the same games this season are costing 140 so hardly a membership scheme to benefit home fans.

So the north looks a lot fuller now, presume people have moved there who bought where they could earlier, as it was mostly full with only the odd seat or 2 coming available now and then, or just moved from their old ST seat who want to be in there.

So Monday gives the chance for those on tickets who want to join and add to the atmosphere in the north, so if anyone still wants a ST there to buy or to move, probably have to act quickly to get the good seats.

Probably best to have majority ST holders but some space for some more fans, often youngsters who are only on tickets this season.

what is the membership about - I am coming from overseas and want to watch the game in October - H to Watford - likely my only home game of the season - do/should I get a membership ? Will be bring my 2 teenage boys also

Pal of mine went in to change his seat on Friday and when the girl turned the screen around there was nowhere near that many seats available to pick from. Strange.

Not sure, that's was the seat planner, unless it was just on 1 block view....

I've booked our tickets for the Reading game 🧡, but when I tried to book 5 for the Boro game (approx £87 - £100), they're not currently selling them 😥 .
They were adverised on the BFC site upto this morning but now that's been removed.
No reason was known by the ticket office staff, as the decision was only made this morning.
As members, there's no early booking priority for home games and the pricing difference has been well discussed earlier on here.

Being a bit OCD - do all the single seats not annoy anyone else!!

My lad who now lives in Chester was in 2 minds. With the breakeven point at 15 games based on the £25 adult price he's bought one. Primarily so he can sit with us. No doubt he'll save on lunch by finding a reason a pop home 🙄
