For the first time ever

Very poor OP. Wife’s currently knitting me a half and half Blackpool/QPR scarf, Cardiff’s way too far but Deepdale’s just round the corner. Hoping for a big away win and a dream scenario of Critch spotting the Tangerine in the away end and giving me one of those special heart/hand gestures at full time. I may get a little teary-eyed but hopefully this will bring closure.

I once went to a Nobbers v QPR match and was chuffed when Nobbers lost 2-0. However, when Pool beat Huddersfield 3-1 last match of the season, QPR won at Villa to pip us on Goal Average to go up, I was really brassed off about it.
🧡UTMP🧡

I don't care who Preston play, always want them to lose. However, I tried to imagine a scenario where I would actually want them to win. I fast forwarded to the last game of the season and say if them beating Sunderland kept us up, but got them a play off spot or promotion .... how would I feel. I decided I'd take championship football over local rivalry, I don't want league one football next season at all.

I went to both them games. QPR were the luckiest team in that division. Remember Nobbers pounding the QPR defence and Archie Gemmil hitting the post.
Still not recovered from that day at Huddersfield.

Never liked him as a person and hated the way he left us in the lurch but if you offered me the option of him replacing Crappleton today I would swallow my pride and have him back. He's on a very small list that could save us from relegation 😞

come on Phil ffs you want the knobbers to win? Especially when they are on a roll! Yes, we hate the snake but i’ll be wanting him to win today and then go on a vast run of defeats….

You did nothing but slag him off when he was here. Then he leaves and he sets us back years?
Is this some sort of parody account where you shouldn’t point out the contradictions?
The two aren't connected at all

You are right I didn't want him, I wanted someone with more experience not a man who would use us at a stepping stone and I was proved right 100% correct on that

However once the board backed him and his ideas like they did, him leaving has set up back years as Appleton has had to start again with almost everything

I hate PNE & I have no time for the fist pumping, badge kissing, Judas, rat.
So as I have to pick a prefered result, a draw is my only choice 🧡
To quote the rat in today's paper, when talking about his beloved QPR: "It will be a very proud moment to stand on the touchline as the leader of this football club".

Na always want them to lose, Critchley did well for us, didn't leave well but doesn't put him anywhere near our rivals. No hatred of the bloke leaving for a better pay day.
A better pay day but a backward career step. He was given a chance by SS and he sh@t on him when they had a long term project. SS was clearly showing loyalty.
The tw@t sloped away without even an explanation. F!ck him, for once Nobbers to win and QPR to slide towards relegation

Nah. I certainly don’t hate Critchley.
He was a dick for leaving the way he did, but I’ve far more good memories of his time with us, than bad.

And nobody puts those cones out like Quitch. 😉

Phil in contrary run chasing post shocker.....😂

A lot of us bought into Critchley and the subsequent manner of his leaving reflects more badly on him than BFC.
Better we found out about his true persona sooner than later.

I was thankful for the promotion but he will not get a favourable reception from me when he returns to Bloomfield Rd.

But back to the o/p, how any Seasider can wish the Nobbers get 3 points to further cement a play-off position is beyond me🤔

Phil I think pretty much any manager who came to us and was successful would then use us as a stepping stone. It’s the way of the world unfortunately.
I don’t think you can beat Critchley with that particular stick

Nah it was all a lie

All this building for the future, long term planning, project bollux

First chance and he fucked off and we are back to square one

I’m not saying it wasn’t a lie. What I’m saying is 99% of managers who came to us would do the same if they were successful.
There is no loyalty in football, except from us lot. I think the most you can expect from any player or manager is to give it everything they’ve got while they’re here, and if they get a chance to move on they do so respectfully and with a bit of class (which I acknowledge Critchley didn’t)

They won't get promoted anyway so 3 points today won't do a jot

Anyway why did you change your user name?

Think I preferred you before the change, you've gone all Eddie Izzard on us

Yeah it was disappointing, but it happens in football, left really poorly considering he has indicated he wanted to be here and build.

But still appreciate what he did.

We had plenty of time in summer to get things right and the club messed a lot of it up.

Preston needed knocking down a peg and I'm glad they got beat today.

Critchley left us in a shithouse way. But in the grand scheme of things he'll be a minor footnote in the club's history. Whereas they will always be our rivals.

Critch is a good manager I'm afraid, so move on and accept that his name is going to be around for a while. I'd certainly be interested to see where he is in 5 years and where i.e. Appleton is.

I’m glad he did the scummy, bus station vvankers.
Having said that I can’t stand the slimy scouse sleazeball - love to know if he kissed the badge and gave it three punches. Total whore.
I never ever bought it , classless piece of sh1t.

Detest him more than any ex pool manager .
Holloway, smegson, hendry, none of them come anywhere close to being as low as that slimy piece of dirt
