Forgotten Football chants at Bloomfield Road

Tried starting a few at Forest away a few weeks ago. Attempted the classic “do do do, Gary Taylor Fletcher” and a “DJ Campbell, Blackpools no. nine TEEEEN” …. Got nothing back from anyone. If it’s not the “boycott years were hard”, nobody seems to bother. All the great teams chant about their legends. Why can’t we?

Bertie Mee said to Don Revie
"Have you heard of the North Bank, Highbury?"
Revie said, "I don't think so,
But I've heard of the Seaside Agro".

...find a dead cat and they think it's a treat

"You only sing when you sign on" (usually when we were playing Tranmere in the early 80's)
Doesn't really work anymore when you look at life expectancy and average earnings in Blackpool!!

Early eighties, she wheeled her wheel barrow through streets broad and narrow singing da da da da da Blackpool
One man went to mow was good especially when it went on for ages if the game was a bit shit
We are the nutters we come from the sea has been mentioned but it was always a favourite of mine
It’s good to look back and reminisce about the old chants, they were great & didn’t involve any bad language like a lot of the ones nowadays. Anyone who disagrees can fuck off

Westies westies give us a song
Westies give us a song.
Mind you if we sang that now, the westies would mishear it and give us a scone!
