If Chrich decides to put James back in...who would you prefer on our right back?

Keep it exactly how it is, I like the strength height and athleticism these two give us in this tough league. Injuries and suspensions will ensure James, Garbs and Hubby will all be needed somewhere along the line. Everyone has a part to play.

Sterling was excellent on Saturday and has done well playing left back.
Two good feet too so why would Critchley drop him for a player who has not played a game in weeks......

If we go to wing-backs I might be tempted to put James in on the left just because it helps the attacking flow if they don't have to check back.

If we stick with a 4 I'd keep it the same. But to answer the OP, Gabriel over Sterling for the attacking qualities. It's a close call though.

think its a very close call, id agree with about the back three or back four as well, a predominently right sided wing back on the left might be an issue, but sterling isnt bad on his left foot and with CJ now playing on the left it might not matter so much

Sterling hasn’t put a foot wrong at LB so defo keep him there and Jordan at RB.
