Gambling firm 'Leo Vegas' sponsoring the new shirt...

Maybe it's just me, but we seem to never have a good season when the kit is actually really good.

Having an average kit bodes well for us... 😅

Jesus why is everyone crying ? It’s a gambling company no one is forcing anyone to gamble or buy the shirt or anything. I guess it’s just the snowflake world we live in now where everyone is offended by everything. It’s actually exhausting. Oh and we play in the sky bet league one.
I think when it comes to things like gambling it can be deeply personal. I've lost a good friend because of it so I'm not interested in promoting it in anyway.
I don't begrudge anyone not feeling like me and everyone is entitled to feel how they want about it, but it will turn a few people away that's for sure.

There's nothing to dislike about the shirt itself, the sponsorship isn't ideal but the extra revenue will have helped securing the likes of Pennington and Norburn. We can't have it all ways. Personally I have no issues, I didn't use Utilita, Betsid or any of the other sponsors, so I'm OK with it. The bigger bugbear is kids shirts being different to the 1st team.

That's the best point made so far.

I seem to recall some chat about always having an ethical sponsor when Sadler took over, but things have moved on.

Not ideal but I do like a plain shirt with a 60s throwback neckline.

I'll probably get one, depending on price.

Put the logo to one side for a moment......................................the shirt itself is boring. The only thing worth saying is that as the white is only at the front of the neck it makes them look like a bunch of semi-trendy vicars.
Think this is because it's 100years of tangerine so nothing is distracting from the colour itself

On the plus side, we get to see 11 vicars on the pitch of Bloomfield road!

Why not Central Drive Night Ladies Collective then, or the Luigi Brothers chemical supply company?

Give them some good publicity, and will be extra money for the club?

It's the bloody hypocrisy that gets me. Lets have a free for all, and allow alcohol and cigarette sponsors as well.

Gambling causes untold harm to thousands of individuals and their relatives and yet it's being defended on here, by many of the same people who were castigating Pilley yesterday for all the pain and suffering caused to many small businesses.

FFS, take a step back and don't defend this just because it's Blackpool FC

If we were sponsored by an alcoholic drink like clubs have been for 25 years would you feel different ?

Just what I was thinking, the shirt has got nothing about it, not even a pattern in the weave. Still I don’t buy them anyway, not a good look on 82 year old.😁

Don't know why there's such outrage, if they provide that extra money that allows us to get the players in we want and win promotion because of it, no-one will care. Stoke's stadium name is after a betting company and I'm pretty sure they have people with gambling problems there. The league itself is sponsored by Skybet too. It's just a fact of life.
I'd prefer something else, but the anger and disappointment is completely OTT.

I would yeah, but I wouldn't begrudge someone who felt like I do about gambling hating it. Like I said it's personal to everyone and I don't begrudge someone feeling differently to me.

Ok that fair enough what I’m saying is just because someone isn’t ok with it doesn’t mean it isn’t ok. I don’t think there is anything that can make everyone happy.

Well we often been described as the Las Vegas of the north, so it sort of fits. We are the entertainment capital of Europe. So many businesses we could object to, but I suppose at tech company, concentrating on the green economy, lbgq, or whatever it is, environmental issues etc, would please most.

When designing a simple shirt, there is a fine line between doing something minimal and classy and something which is uninspired and bland. This is firmly the latter with some of the finishing touches looking awful. The hideous betting company heightens the mediocrity, it looks like an off the peg Puma budget training shirt with a betting company on it. No way to commemorate 100 years of tangerine!

The only bad thing is the collar. The sponsor is irrelevant as commercial gains will always trump what the fans want. The fact it’s plain is a huge positive over the last two silly kits.
