That’s the bit that’s puzzling. I assume the FGR team were already settled into their hotel.
 
Apparently Forest Green were demanding a very specific pre-match meal but Blackpool Football Club were adamant the pitch was not to be eaten under any circumstances. Forest Green Rovers officials played the discrimination card and refused to travel.
 
If we have to play Scarborough it would have to be Tues 19th Dec. We are playing next Tues and they have a game on the 12th
 
Disgraceful.

We should be through to the next round, give Scarborough £30k as compensation (they got beat by the way).

Not BFC’s problem.
 
It could very well be to do with their emergency loan keeper and the lack of independent medical verification that their normal keeper is not fit to play.

How backlogged are they that they can't spot things within a reasonable time frame?

They played mid November.

Cant see it's a Troy Deeney issue. On the registration point he's been with FGR since August and played 15+ times so thats a long time not to be registered. He got a yellow in the first match against Scarborough but even if that was his 5th yellow its FA Cup specific.
Must be something else, IMO.
 
Forget the weather and that the game might have been called off anyway.

We are playing an FA Cup 2nd round game which is a pretty big deal.

The FA cancel the game on Friday afternoon due to paperwork.

That is so bad.

They should fine themselves and compensate Blackpool football club.

The BBC news is no longer worth bothering with….whether it be sport,politics and even the effing weather…frozen pitch indeed😂

The irony is if FRG are kicked out and Scarborough reinstated then I feel sorry for Scarborough fans as I bet they would have brought more than FGR if the game were tomorrow but a midweek game,no chance many will be able to make it.

The FA is a xxxxing joke and always has and will be with the EFL not far behind or maybe even ahead.
